I know this is already a movie, but I think How To Train Your Dragon should be redone. Ya know, a movie that's actually based on the book (which is absoloutely amazing by the way, you should read it. I mean it, read the book! You won't regret it!) Don't get me wrong, I like the movie, but it really is nothing like the book. It's stopped alot of people from reading it because they didn't like the movie, or they think the book must be too "childish".

I agree! I loved the original movies, but when I read the books, they were really awesome and it would be cool to see a movie or TV show with the book's storyline.

And AMEN LEELI!!! Keeper of the Lost Cities needs to be made into movies. GOOD ones. I must admit, I'm always a little worried that the people making these things will totally flunk them like what I heard happened with A Wrinkle in Time and with PJO.
I am suuuper excited for the Warriors movie, and reeeally hoping they won't mess it up or make it cheesy. If they make the cats and stuff CG and make it look really awesome like in the new Jungle Book awesome, I am going to f-reak. (In an ultra-overjoyed way, XD.)
Ooooh, and the Winterling trilogy should totally be made into movies. And Rain Reign, as well. (Has anyone read it? It's really good!) Oh, and one of the sequels to A Wrinkle in Time, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, is REALLY good. Probably one of the best books I've ever read; that deserves a movie, too. A really good one.
Welp one more thing(xD yes more): Pax should absolutely be a movie. The book will always be better- it just will– but it would make an amazing and powerful movie. But if they added some sort of epilogue onto it I would be really mad, because an epilogue would ruin it. You will understand why if you've read the book.

Oh man, everything Rick Riordan needs a remake. Also SPOILERS: In the new Trials of Apollo book, The Burning Maze, Apollo, Leo, and Calypso get Piper and Jason's help, but Piper and Jason BREAK UP!!!!!!!! And then JASON DIES. I exploded when I found out. I almost cried. Rick Riordan has made me cry. ( It was Silena Beauregard's death.) Aaaaaand I'm babbling like an idiot.
P.S. THERE'S A TOWN IN ALSAKA CALLED VALDEZ. Leo will freak if he finds out. * Leo sees screen* WAHOOO! I'M FAMOUS!!!!!

Maximum Ride needs a redo SO BAD. I cannot believe all of the stuff they got wrong, and most of it didn’t even make much sense. I was EXTREMELLY disappointed.

I just saw Eragon, and I liked it, but I was also pretty disappointed. They changed a lot of things from the book, and left out a lot of little details that would have made it way better. Honestly, it felt like they were trying to pack a long book into an hour-and-a-half long movie (because they were) and I think if they had made it longer and put in all those extra parts they cut, it would have been way better. The special effects and CGI also could have been better. So yeah, I would love a remake of that, and then of course movies for the rest of the series.
Also, they need to make a fourth Divergent movie! You can’t just end a movie with a cliffhanger like that and then not make another movie!
@Aspen, Yessssss I feel you. I’m always so scared they’re gonna mess up a book when they make a movie of it, because they often change so many things and sometimes they ruin it completely. But if they did KOTLC right, it would be so epic.

How about (Possibly even re-making the first one…. it didn't keep the whole "YO THE MAIN CHARACTER IS A JEEEEERK, DEAL WITH IT, SHE GETS BETTER. Thing where character development is a thing) making THE REST OF THE 'HIS DARK MATERIALS' SERIES?
I mean, you just cannot end it like that. It was done very well, honestly, and though they didn't keep a lot of the things I liked in the book, it was still a good movie. Continueing it with that same style that was a theme, the air of steampunky-but-way-better-than-actual-steampunk-vibe was interesting and was not in the books. And continueing it until the end…. oh….. yeah, I guess it might be abit CONTROVERSIAL to people. You know, the whole last book sort of….. well, you could see he was having fun with it. I just love how he vilinizes SO MANY THINGS in it that are not often vilinized. So good. Just don't take it super seriously. AHEM.
But wouldn't you think the Goose Girl would be a good animated movie? Like, drawing animated? I will always love that style of animation. Just. Perfect. I like it just a TWEENSY bit better than computer-animated stuff.
Speaking of not-good-live-action-idea-films, apparently the live-action version of The Last avatar was pretty bad. Was it? I didn't really like the snippets I saw of it in its trailers, so……

Well, personally I'm waaaaaaay more into books than movies, and usually feel that movies ruin it, but I actually think that making Keeper of the Lost Cities into a movie would be pretty cool. Probably not gonna happen, especially since the abilities would be so complicated, and the settings, but still. Also, nothing to do with this thread, but I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK IN KOTLC FLASHBACK EEEEEEEE! anyway, yeah.
