EliaeParticipantThe train has been still for minutes now. Rita tenses, hearing something that I do not, and holds a finger to her lips, glaring in my direction. I flinch.
Metal screeches suddenly, along with a cacophony of grinding noises. Rita grimacesgrimaces, but it's not quite over–someone pounds on the door, muttering to themself. "Broken again? You've gotta be…" The pounding stops and their voice fades away.
Rita springs to life, toying with the cargo door this way and that. It slides open. "Hurry up and get out." She mutters. "They'll only be gone for so long. "
I slip out of the train. She follows me, swinging her bag back and forth innocently. The bag she shoved a Faerie into. "Just follow me. And don't think about running off–though, I'd like to see what they'd do to some teen sneaking into the trainyard."
She grabs my wrist and pulls me away from a security camera. "Hurry up."

Rogue WildlingParticipantCorrin~
My black wings wave slowly, barely stirring the air.
"Hurry up!" The more aggressive girl shoves the other against a wall, inching her way towards an opening. I hold back a growl. I glance at the sack as the aggressive one lets it down, checking on the contents. I gasp when I spy the Fae inside, and my throat catches tightly. For a moment, I can't breathe. The black spots covering her skin… They're my fault.
~
Not sure what I'm doing with this. I was thinking that the Corruption in Corrin affected the Fae… *GASP* WHAT IF THE FAE WAS CORRIN'S SISTER AND okay I may need a new post to explain my thoughts. What do you guys think?
-
EliaeParticipantSorry for the bad post :pTrainyard. Wall. Field. Open space.
We walk for a while. She gets more and more agressive as we do–constantly trying to convince me that this is for the Fae's good. I try to believe it, I really do.
The mountains get closer as we walk, her constantly beside me with no escape. I keep looking for a way, somewhere to go, but the fact remains that she still has the Fae in her bag and there's nothing I can do.
As we near the mountains, I can see what must have once been houses dotted all over the scenery. I can already see some deformities in them from this distance, and I'd bet some of them are complete ruins. Rita smiles when she sees them, though, and that makes me dread nearing them even more.
But we never reach them.
Before we can, a large shadow passes overhead. I freeze, then look up–straight at a–a–dragon.
I've never seen a dragon before. Who in their right mind would? …Though, they are kind of interesting, now that I stare at one of the deadly creatures. This one has silver scales, each interwoven perfectly on its skin, and a set of wicked teeth it reveals when its mouth opens.
It spirals lazily toward the ground, speaking a singsong Draconic as it goes.
*aand Igtg*

EliaeParticipantSorry about the last post! I wrote it on the run, so it's pretty rushed. I just wanted to get some sort of post out there so I could get through the plot with El.
@Rogue, I'd be perfectly fine with having the infected Fae be Corrin's sister! It seems like a fun idea!
-
EliaeParticipantThe dragon lands before us, already poised despite having just made a landing.
The silver coloring of its scales makes them appear to be a polished steel, but their sheen makes them appear to glow from within in a way heated steel could never. It's hard to look away from them, but when I do I immediately notice its claws. They've dug into the ground slightly, leaving ruts behind them.
I look away. I can barely stand anymore, much less look at it. This thing could kill me in a heartbeat–it could kill almost anything in a heartbeat.
Rita laughs. "Took you long enough to get here." Rita comments. I blink, then risk a glance at Rita and the dragon. She's smiling at it. I slowly raise my head, afraid but, admittedly, curious somehow.
It begins to speak, its voice a smooth purr–rough, yet with an odd smooth quality. I listen, but it sounds as all unfamiliar languages do to me–a tangle of words, running seamlessly into each other. No specific words stick out to me.
But one does when Rita starts talking.
Her voice is Draconic as well. I can and can't believe it. So many things make sense now (she was never bringing us to people, it was dragons of all things), and so many things still don't. I just can't accept that I'm near someone who speaks Draconic. The forbidden language. I can't even accept that this happened–I need to focus.
She opens the bag for a moment, holding it in front of the dragon, and it immediately recoils, then relaxes again. Rita grins, looking back at me.
"I told you I'd get help, didn't I?"
-
Rogue WildlingParticipantOoh, good! Corrin's corrupted dragon magic, Rita seeking dragons' help… EhehEhehHheh Oh and also Corrin is human sized with giant wings. Also, what if Corrin calls all Fae her sisters and brothers since she never knew her parents? Just FYI I'm going to redo some stuff on her charrie sheet, I came up with better ideas that will fit better.
Corrin~
I follow them as best I can. I'm so focused on keeping track of the sack and its contents that I fail to notice a huge, winged shadow cover the ground. To my immediate horror, the dragon's trill makes me nearly flare my wings. It lands, and I creep closer. Rita, as I've gathered the agressive girl's name is, shows the girl inside the sack to the dragon, who recoils in horror, then relaxes once it realises the girl is unconscious. A happy, slightly malicious rumble splits my heart. The dragon reaches for the sack, claws gleaming. Something snaps inside me. I burst out from my hiding spot, some conveniently placed boxes. Pumping my wings, I shriek madly, and I feel my eyes go entirely black, like a dragon's; like my wings. The girls and the dragon turn. The gentle girl faints, Rita drops the sack, and the dragon starts chanting a draconic incantation of binding. Blinded by my rage, I don't stop. Instead, I summon black blades of my magic and plunge them into the dragon's chest. An agonized roar, and the dragon disappears, absorbed by my destruction-inducing essence. I whirl to Rita, aiming my blades at her heart. With the growing intensity of my wrath, all of the points of my wings grow longer, forming sword-like protrusions. Rita's eyes grow wide, and her hand reaches for a leaden pole nearby.
"Stop." I command. I flick one blade towards the sack. "Do not resist. I will be taking my sister. Now." Rita stumbles backwards, not expecting me to speak fluent Draconic. I tuck the sack away from the pure Fae, her normally light purple wings almost black. I scoop her up in one hand. She whimpers softly. Her wings throb, and slowly the dark splatters recede. Her pained face relaxes, but I can feel myself slipping. Slipping to the dragon side of me. I shake it off. My little sister opens her eyes and smiles at me. She flies up, perching nimbly on my shoulder, hugging my neck.
"Sivent! Corrin!" (Sister! Corrin!) Her baby blue eyes grow wide. "Goardns marklic maflroi mar kivikan!" (Dragon magic made me deathly ill!)
"Sevt akodoni, fer vall." (Go home, fare well.) I command. The Fae nods and rises into the air, then vanishes in a flash. Rita has been standing over the gentle girl all this time, knowing it's no use to fight me. The girl stirs, then sits up.
"What happened – aaAAAH WHO – WHAT ARE YOU" She shouts, scrambling away from me.
"I am Corrin. What I am does not matter at the moment." My wings start to ache. I can tolerate that for a good while longer. I turn to Rita. "Now I'm guessing you wanted that Fae for a lot more than just to heal her. Well, I have Fae blood, and prbably a lot more than that." I raise my arms like I'm being inspected to be found valuable.

WHEW THAT'S A LOT 'kay posting again tomorrow sometime-
-
EliaeParticipantThe dragon's claws extend, reaching for the purse. I flinch, and then–
A shriek fills the air and a pile of crates topples. Soaring toward us is–I have no idea. She looks almost like a Fae, but that's not right–she's the size of a human, and a terror–everything about her is black–she's going to kill us–
It's too much. I drop to the ground, fainting.
~
When I come to, I can still see the girl. Her wings are sharpened now, almost to the same point as her blades. I wish I were still unconscious. I wish–wait–why I am I thinking about this? I open my mouth, possibly in some attempt to form a calm sentence.
"What happened – aaAAAHH WHO – WHAT ARE YOU!?" I practically screech, all attempts to sound slightly calm flying away from me.
"I am Corrin. What I am does not matter at the moment." She pauses, then turns toward Rita. 'Now, I'm guessing you wanted that Fae for a lot more than to just heal her. Well, I have Fae blood, and probably a lot more than that." She lifts her arms, as if she's expecting to be examined.
Rita looks tense, and…genuinely angry. It's not the snapping anger she used to keep me in line earlier, it's a sort of fury and disappointment. Her eyes are practically blazing with it. And, for the first time, I feel somewhat…anxious. I don't want to know what comes next, I don't want to be here when she speaks. I don't want her to speak at all.
"You." Rita finally says. "You assume I'm–" She stops, biting her lip. "I took the Fae for her own good. Her blood isn't mine to take. I don't need blood. I don't need a thing." Her voice is a thin mask for her fury. "And I didn't need her endangered by a monstrosity." She follows the comment up with a word in Draconic, presumably monstrosity in it. "You think you can heal that? You think you can heal her?"
"You." The mask covering her fury has melted now, leaving only anger. "You think letting that Fae go was a good idea?" A pause. "Do you think she's really healed? If you do." She mutters another Draconic insult. "You're lying to yourself." Another pause, where she glares.
"You just let a Fae carrying a possibly deadly illness just go. How do you feel about yourself?"
-
Rogue WildlingParticipantCorrin~
My blades reappear. "You think I don't know she was sick?? I have killed. SO MANY FAE. And I've healed more. Don't think this is the first time that I've caused that illness, Rita." Rita steps back. "I hope you know that I am the cause and the cure. My magic-" I twirl the blade in my right hand- "Has devoured the souls of many Fae. They are delicate. Their only hope is that I retract my magic from them. Had you kept her even minutes longer, she would have been lost. And don't think of going to the dragons. You should've known that." The gentle girl looks up untrustingly at both of us now. I smile triumphantly. "I never suggested anything about taking blood, Rita." Shock covers her face, and guilt flashes through her eyes before she stifles it.

Rogue WildlingParticipantI highlighted the changes in Italics.
Name: Corrin Von Avon
Gender: Female
Age: Older juvenile
Species: Unknown. Human-sized Fae-like being with some Draconic features.
Appearance: Corrin has very fair skin, with green ocean eyes and brown hair that obviously used to be blonde. Smal black dragon scales dot her face like freckles, and she is strong. VERY strong. Her limbal rings pulse with her heart beat. She wears a black tank top with a hood and jeans. Always barefoot. Her wings are huge and black, shaped like some sort of dark butterfly's wings, but made of leathery skin and covered in tiny scales, like a dragon's. Corrin is average height, her body curved and strong. She watches. Everything. Literally everything. She is always on high alert. She wears a backpack with highly adjustable straps. In this she carries a sketch pad. On occasion, when Corrin is using/retracting the more Dragon-like side of her magic, her eyes become completely black, like a dragon's, and her wings deform, becoming slightly obscured by black vapour and draconically shaped, if that's a word. (Also, Corrin will have a dragon form later. I can't risk spoiling right now…)
Personality: As I've said, Corrin is always on high alert. She's watchful, quick and quiet on her feet, and is slow to trust. However, once you have earned her trust, she is extremely loyal, brave, courageous, open, friendly, and caring. However, if you have made the grave mistake of wronging her, she will hold you to it forever until you've made it right. The stakes are higher if you've hurt someone she loves.
Background: Corrin thinks she may be the magic-born spawn of a Dragon and a Fae. This would make sense because her magic, which is out of control and often kills things if Corrin doesn't consciously retract it, seems to be some sort of mix of Dargon and Fae magic, forming it's own type. As if being chaotic wasn't enough, this magic turned her wings black and gives her mild to severe burning pain in her wings every time she tries not to speak Draconic. The severity of the pain depends on what other language she is trying to speak, the most painful for her is, unfortunately, Fae. It hurts so much that her wings will be crippled for a minute after she finishes speaking Fae. Fotunately, writing in other languages doesn't hurt her, which is why she always carries a sketch pad.
Other: HIGHLY OPEN TO SHIPPING WITH GUYS!! Also, Corrin can speak Draconic, Human, and Fae. She can speak human because she was raised by a human mother until her mother realized she what she was turning into.

SybillParticipant????
KyngdomOksana~~
The young man comes back. "Oksana, are you sure? Ellie isn't around here anywhere. She's…gone."
I take a deep breath. "I just watched through the footage of the past few hours. I saw our translator and a secretary standing in the hall, right before the screen suddenly shut off for no reason. And..the secretary was the same one that I saw speak Draconic."
The man shakes his head. "Oh dear… This is bad. My friend who works at the local train station swears he was a violent looking woman take Ellie onto a train." The man shows me a phone screen. I read over the text .
"I'll go find her." I say quickly . Something is going on. Although I am terrified, I have a strange feeling that I have to find the translator as soon as I can.
"Alright. The train was supposed to go to the old trainyard next to the area of the dragon rampage."
I thank him, and then run towards the doors.
