I am SO sorry I didn't post this sooner! I couldn't decide between some character ideas I had, but I ended up just doing all of them. Well, I'm still deciding if I'll do the third one, but I'll probably post it tomorrow.
Name: Jasmine Lockall
Age: 14
Gender/pronouns: she/her
Role: Dragon rider
Appearance: medium brown skin, curly dark brown hair, blond at the ends, hazel eyes, average build, on the shorter side, likes to wear eclectic, colorful clothes, but still be comfortable
Personality: extrovert, very friendly and kind, loyal, hardworking, can be gullible, loves people (as well as dragons, of course), smart, loves flying but is somewhat scared of going too high or fast since she just started, so her older brother teases her about it.
Background: her parents are both experienced dragon riders, and are close with the leader of the dragon riders (or one of them could be the leader, if someone wants to make a charrie sheet for them). She's grown up in the dragon riding community and has never been very far from dragon territory.

Age: uhh, adult, but still pretty young for a dragon (idk what age she'd be in human years)
Gender/pronouns: female, she/her (wow no male dragons so far)
Role: dragon
Appearance: her scales are kind of a light gold, yellow-y color, with some pink and blues scales and a pink underside and dark blue eyes
Personality: takes things really seriously, a bit overprotective of Jasmine, dramatic, a total romantic
Background: She the oldest of Elatza (the dragon queen)'s daughters, grew up pretty normally for a dragon except for being a princess, of course.

Personality: practical and can be grumpy, a tad coldhearted. Very loyal to his queen but kind of likes to do things his own way.

Dragon Riders
– how do you become a Rider? Is there a training process or rite of passage? I think it’s something you have to be born with. Though I think you should have to go through a training process to become a good Rider.
-is there a city of Dragon Riders? I think the Riders should share the dragon’s territory.
– does every human have rider potential or is it a special ability? I think you should be able to talk telepathically, like that’s something you are born with. Also you have to be choosen by a dragon. If you aren’t, you are offered a position other than a Rider.
-how are the dragon and rider linked? I don’t really know. Perhaps it’s just a close relationship, really close. And maybe each Rider and dragon has their own telepathic language that only they can understand.
-do dragons talk, or communicate telepathically, or what? I think the dragons should have their own language. But to talk to humans they have to use telepathy.
– what kind of special abilities do dragons have? breath weapons, etc? do they have weaknesses to balance them out? Well, fire breathing and claws. I think we should have each dragon have their own unique weak spot.
– when do the dragon and rider bond? from the egg, as adults, somewhere in between? Maybe right after they hatch.
– if a rider or dragon dies, can their partner form a new bond? I think no.

– what's their political/social structure? is it a democracy, monarchy, dictatorship, etc? are there strict clsses or is everyone equal? I think there should be classes.
– what's the geography like? I can draw out a draft map and post it, if you want. You can give me feedback, what to add, what to take away. Then I can make a final map. (I enjoy drawing maps).
-what's their military like? do they have their own or do they rely on the riders? I think they should have their own military. But Azazel wants to take the Riders into his military.
– is there some kind of conflict that the dragons could help with, or does Azazel plan on conquering the world? I think Azazel wants to take over the world. But the dragons are endangered so they have to prevent that too.

Okay, so here’s a draft map of Emaryan. I’m working on one of the dragon’s territory. Let me know if you think of anything that I should include in it!
I need names for some of the places for this map. I’m listing them below. Please give your ideas.
– Forest
– River
– Creek
– Castle (I’m calling it Azazel’s Castle but I think it needs a better name)
– Road
– Grasslands
– Village (I need the names for 3 villages)
Let me know if I should change or add anything! I’ll make a finished map once I get the names.

I think the river should be called the Sana Amnis, latin for healthy stream, but I guess everyone can just call in the Ammie. I guess the forest can be called the Silvado, because it sounds cool and silva is latin for forest. I don't think the creek should have an official name, everyone should just call it "the brook" or something like that. I think a good name for a village is Sundime. I just think it has a good ring to it. Well, that's all I have for now. I may start RPing tomorrow, because I think it's about time. Ok bye now.

Some ideas for the answers to Peregrine's worldbuilding questions: (The ones about Dragon Riders.)
– I think it would be sort of cool if all Dragon Riders were birn with some sort of dragon feature, like a tail or nose or something, that identifies them as a Dragon Rider. The feature will melt away eventually, but that's how you know they're going to be a Dragon Rider. And maybe they get sent away for an apprenticeship once you reach a certain age.
– I think you're right, the Dragon Riders should just share dragon territory. Maybe they have a small village there, though.
– Like I suggested earlier, not every human should be born with rider ability. And the telepathy thing sounds good, too. And some positions they can be offered if no dragon chooses them could be maybe a trainer for future Dragon Riders.
– I think telepathy is a good link for the dragon and Rider.
– Dragons should have their own language, and they can only talk with humans if they are their Dragon Rider, and even that is only telepathy.
– Special abilities can be fire breathing (or maybe ice breathing too, depending on the dragon.) And each dragon maybe has a weak spot which is the place where their Rider touched them when they were just hatched. If a dragon is not touched by a Rider within a month (or maybe even a year) of when they hatched, then they die. Or something.
– I think the dragon and Rider should normally bond right after hatching, but it can happen up to a year after they are hatched.
– And, yeah, a bond lasts for life, and you can't change it, even when one of them dies.

Hey guys, today was my last day of school (whoo hoo!) so I'll be on more now, sorry I haven't contributed much (besides starting the thing lol)
Me, PygmyOwl, and Sorrelshine have all given possible answers for Peregrine's prompts – which do you guys think we should do?
Also @Peregrine how about for the river it can be the River Remboreth, and two of the villages can be, lets see, uhhhhh, ……… Havenwood and Eglen? Those aren't the best names I'm in a hurry, but do what you like with it.
