Day One, Part OneParticipantNine MusesDAY ONE, PART ONEThe CBers stood at the gates of Olympus, amazed, breathless, speechless. Wreeboo found that it was impossible to tear her eyes away from the golden metal. Several gods, who must have been acting as guards, stood just outside the gates, though Wreeboo didn’t know who they were. Just beyond the gates, a few gods were walking towards them. One of them was a tall, strong-looking woman with olive skin and dark brown hair wrapped in an elegant bun, wearing a blue dress accented with peacock feathers. A golden crown studded with blue gems rested upon her head, and Wreeboo guessed she was probably Hera.Next to Hera was a tall, muscular man with a white beard, wearing gold and white clothing, with lightning themed accessories. This god was obviously Zeus. Zeus and Hera pushed through the gates, looking far more majestic than anyone Wreeboo had ever met.“Welcome to Olympus, mortals!” Zeus said. While still awestruck, Wreeboo noted Zeus’s voice didn’t quite match up with the booming, deep voice she’d imagined in her head. He sounded more like any average man in his forties. Even so, she had no idea how to respond.Luckily, Pink, Lumi, Gracia, and Rainbow had no problems talking to the gods.“Wow!” Pink exclaimed. “Your dress is so pretty!” Hera smiled at her.“Yeah!” Rainbow added. “I love the peacock feathers.”“This is so cool!” Gracia said.“Thanks for inviting us here,” Lumi said.“Oh, it’s no problem at all! Hera loves to repay a favor,” Zeus said. “Now come on, I’ll give you a tour.”The CBers followed Zeus and Hera through the gates, all of them staring in awe at the gorgeously crafted statues and buildings. Wreeboo could hear music playing somewhere in the distance, the most lovely music she’d ever heard.Gracia walked faster and caught up to Hera. She leaned over and asked, in her kindest voice, “So, I really don’t mean to sound rude, but how exactly is this all working? Like, I mean, people have obviously been to the top of Mount Olympus and none of this was, y’know, here…”Hera laughed. “Oh, mortals, always thinking things must not be real if they’ve never seen them. The explanation is quite simple, really. This Mount Olympus isn’t actually on top of Earth’s Mount Olympus at all–right now, we’re in a pocket dimension. We–by that, I mean the gods–created this alternate reality after the Roman Empire took over Ancient Greece. It’s why they have different versions of us–well, except for Apollo. That idiot decided no Roman gods were going to take his place.”“So, basically, you…moved away? So the Roman gods could move in?”“Pretty much, yes. It’s not natural for things to last forever on Earth. Not even gods,” Hera explained. Gracia fell silent to process this information.“So, the Underworld, is that a pocket dimension too?” She finally asked.“Why, yes, it is,” Hera said. Then, she shooed Gracia away.Lumi looked up to see Gracia walking back towards the other CBers. Zeus was taking them into the building they were staying in for their vacation here. It was a small, but elegant, marble building, with enough rooms for all of the CBers to stay in.“Each door will have a name on it,” Zeus explained. “Search for your name to find your room.”Lumi walked down the hallway, noting that her room was at the very end of the corridor. Across from her was Lazerbat’s room, and on her room’s right was Dreamii’s room. There were no other rooms to left of hers. She opened up the door and crept inside. There was a light switch on the wall–Lumi was immensely grateful there was electricity on Olympus–and turning it on revealed the contents of the room. The floor was covered in a soft turquoise carpet, and there was a single bed with golden sheets and pillows against the far wall. A small wooden bookshelf was also in the room, though it looked like most of the books on it were written in Greek.Lumi had just set down her stuff, when there was a sudden knock at her door.~~~~-

Day One, Part TwoParticipantNine MusesPlease note that most posts will focus on one or two CBers at a time so as to prevent confusion.
DAY ONE, PART TWO
Lumi opened her door slowly, cautiously. There was a man on the other side–but not one she recognized, not at all. He had olive skin, and strange, purple eyes. His hair was brown, with purple undertones, tied back in a ponytail, and it sported an undercut. He wasn’t very tall, though he was still taller than Lumi.
“Uh, hi?” Lumi asked.
“Oh! So, so sorry,” The strange man said. “Sorry, no, you’re not the one I was looking for.” He looked up, his eyes facin
Lumi smiled at him. “That’s okay. Who are you?”
He paused, for a moment, as if he wasn’t really sure himself. “Uh–Dionysus. You know, Greek god of grapes, vineyards, and a beverage I’m probably not allowed to mention.”
“He’s also the god of madness!” A voice said, from behind Dionysus. Dionysus turned to see who had spoken. It was Dreamii–she was standing in the hall, in front of her door, suddenly looking sheepish.
“Er, sorry,” She said, sounding apologetic. “I just–heard you talking–and…” Dreamii trailed off. Her eyes suddenly focused on the floor.
Thankfully, Zeus came back to the CBer’s hall, saving Lumi, Dionysus, and Dreamii from a very awkward situation.
“CBers!” He said, joyfully. “Come along, we’ve got an activity for you!” His eyes landed on Dionysus and confusion filled them for a moment, a strange sort of confusion gods shouldn’t have been capable of feeling.
But Zeus shrugged it off, and the CBers followed him, brimming with excitement. Feline Fantasy walked over towards Silver and Moondrop.
“What do you think we’re going to do?” Feli asked. Silver shrugged.
“Probably something really cool!” Moondrop said. “Wow, these buildings are so cool. Am I using the word ‘cool’ a lot? I feel like I am.”
Silver smiled at her. “No, you’re good. It’s hard to find words to describe…all…this….”
Silver’s voice faded away and her jaw dropped as she saw what Zeus had taken them to. Feli looked to see what it was, and she gasped. An excited squeal escaped from Moondrop.
“Are those PEGASI?” Pink exclaimed. Zeus grinned.
“That’s right!” He said. “The sons and daughters of the very famous Pegasus. Now, who wants to meet all of them?”
The others rushed after Zeus as he led them outside, but Sterling stayed behind. She tapped Song on the shoulder, who was near the rear of the group of CBers.
“Hey, have you seen Dreamii recently?” Sterling asked, concern in her voice. Sterling had been walking with Dreamii not too long ago, but then she’d pulled ahead and Dreamii was gone.
“No, but I’m sure she’s probably with the others,” Song said. They sounded fairly unconcerned.
Sterling frowned. “Well, I’m going to look for them. If anyone asks, tell them that’s what I’m doing.”
“Alright,” Song agreed. “And, if she’s really missing…good luck.” With that, they turned away and joined the rest of the group.
Song walked over to Lazerbat, who was petting the head of a golden pegasus with a shining white mane. “Hey, have you seen Dreamii recently?”
Lazerbat paused, then shook his head. “No, sorry. I’d guess she’s probably looking at the Pegasus, though. That’s where everyone else is.”
“Uh, okay.” Song joined the large majority of the CBers, who were ooh-ing and ahh-ing as Zeus led Pegasus around the stables. They searched for Dreamii amongst the crowd, but couldn’t find her anywhere.
A scream tore across the air.
The CBers fell silent, and Sterling burst into the stables. “Dreamii is dead!” She cried out.
Zeus’s face turned hard, and serious. “Show me.”
—
The CBers had gathered around where Dreamii’s body was, though a sheet covered it. “What happened?” Lazerbat asked.
Sterling wiped tears from her eyes, and took a deep breath. “Sh-she went m-m-missing, and so I-I went l-looking for h-her. And th-then I f-found her, and sh-she was DEAD!”
Pink moved forwards to console Sterling.
“There was b-blood, e-everywhere,” Sterling said, much quieter.
Another god had joined the group–Athena. She had fair skin, and ebony hair tied in a ponytail that reached her waist. She always wore armor, as if she were about to engage in warfare at any moment.
“Did you see anyone else around?” Athena asked. Sterling shook her head.
“That’s not…no…”
Lumi turned around, alarmed by the voice coming from the alley behind her. She saw none other than Dionysus.
“What are you doing here?” She asked, stepping into the darkness.
Dionysus seemed to only just notice she was there. “Oh, come on, when something exciting happens, I’m bound to show up.” His voice was drastically different than it had been moments ago. It’s very unclear as to whether this is a plot hole or if the narrator can’t figure out how to describe Dionysus’s character.
“Exciting?” Lumi’s tone became angry. “You act like this is–like this is a good thing!”
“Listen, mortal, when you get to be as old as I am, weird things–no matter how tragic–become pretty entertaining. And anyways, we’re on Olympus. Gods live here. Believe me, someone has got the power to just–” he snapped his fingers “–bring her back to life.”
“We can’t bring her back to life!” Athena suddenly yelled. She and Zeus each had their hands resting on the sheet, where Dreamii’s forehead was. “There’s…something wrong.”
Dionysus sucked in a breath. “Or, there’s some sort of weird murder-mystery going on, and we might have ourselves a problem.”

Day One, Part ThreeParticipantNine MusesDAY ONE, PART THREE
Rainbow was determined to find Dreamii’s murderer, no matter what it took. Just one look at the horror and shock on Sterling’s face had convinced her.
Athena took the CBers on a trip to the Olympian Library in order to distract them from the troubling events of the day. Rainbow immediately searched for books on the Underworld, and Hades–if there was one god who could figure out how Dreamii had died, it was probably the god of the dead. She picked out one of the few books that was in English–the title was simply “Hades, God of the Dead.”
She started searching for a section on how to get to the Underworld when she noticed a face staring at her over her book, a face with white-blonde hair and warm brown eyes.
“What are you reading?” Wreeboo asked Rainbow.
“Oh, just, uh…this book…on…Hades,” Rainbow said, sounding embarrassed. Wreeboo furrowed her brow, then seemed to come to a realization.
“You’re trying to solve the mystery, right?” Wreeboo said. “Of Dreamii’s death?”
Rainbow nodded a moment later.
“Ooh, solving murders? Count me in!” Wreeboo and Rainbow both jumped in surprise, looking to see the newcomer. He was very tall, and looked young. His hair was a shining shade of yellow, but maybe orange, but maybe yellow, but maybe orange. It was short and fairly curly. He wore a yellow dress, made most of a lace with yellow flowers over it, one that stopped a modest few inches above his knees. He had thin, golden-brown eyes with long eyelashes and just a little sunset-pink eyeshadow to compliment them. His skin was a warm golden brown–in fact, almost everything about him had a golden shine to it. He had orange earrings resembling the sun, and a gold necklace with a pendant resembling a lyre.
“Oh, don’t worry about me giving away your secret!” he continued. “The name’s Apollo, you know who I am.” After a moment’s hesitation, both Rainbow and Wreeboo shook his hand.
Wreeboo thought for a moment, then came to a sudden realization. “Wait, Apollo, you’re the god of prophecy, right?”
He nodded.
“Couldn’t you just predict the future and tell us who the murderer is?” Wreeboo asked.
Apollo shook his head. “No, no, no, I’m amazing, yes, but I can’t do that.” (Wreeboo felt that the point about him being amazing was probably unrelated to the rest of the sentence, but she kept silent.) “You see, I can only see fragments of the future. And besides, I actually did have a weird dream about a murderer, but Dreamii was the murderer in it–and well, she’s dead.
“So, either there was a mix-up on the Fates’ end–which is impossible–or it was just a weird dream predicting that Dreamii would die,'' Apollo finished.
“Okay, but what if we asked Hades for help? He’s god of the dead, he must know something, right?” Rainbow said.
“Um…what if we don’t visit him, actually?” Apollo said. “He’s not really on…speaking terms…with the rest of us Olympians. And anyways, it would make the plot way too easy to solve.” They weren’t supposed to hear that.
Rainbow seemed lost for ideas, but she told herself she had to keep trying. “Okay, then, we’ll do this the old fashioned way! So, right now, our biggest suspect is Sterling. She was the only one near the body when it was found.”
“But, also, I saw Lumi vanish down an alleyway when we found the body, and I could hear her talking to someone, but I don’t know who,” Wreeboo said. “Maybe it could be her?”
Apollo seemed to consider this, then his eyes widened. “What if…one of the gods is the murderer?”
That’s not possible, no.
“Oh, maybe!” Rainbow said. “Maybe Zeus? Or even Hera? Either one of them could be jealous the CBers are taking attention away from them. Or, even though we haven’t met him, maybe Ares? Since he’s the god of bloodlust or whatever?”
They aren’t supposed to be talking about this. None of this was supposed to happen.
“Well, maybe it’s D
“Yeah, you’re right, Lumi and Sterling are our only two suspects, and there are no others,” Rainbow said, clarifying this for anyone who might have thought otherwise.
“Wait a minute, I’m getting a dream,” Apollo interrupted.
“Who’s in it? Who’s going to die?” Wreeboo asked.
“I don’t know…there’s no one in it. Just…two shadowy figures? They’re holding hands, but that’s all I can see,” Apollo said. His eyes were closed. “I think maybe, the murderer is working with someone?”
“Maybe a god? Like, they’re working with a god?” Wreeboo suggests. This is much more likely than their earlier topic of discussion, which made zero sense at all, and nobody should even remember it, because it was so nonsensical, and made zero sense.
Song had been listening to this, and they already had a few suspects in mind. When Apollo, Wreeboo, and Rainbow had left, they snuck over to where they’d been standing. They pulled out the book Rainbow had been reading–it was the only one in English, so it wasn’t hard to find.
They tucked it into their bag, and then followed the rest of the CBers as they were led into the dining hall.

Milky WaySorry I didn't see this earlier! I'm glad Apollo finally came into the picture, you wrote him very convincingly. I wonder if the murderer is actually working with a god… maybe it's Apollo? He could pretend to help them to throw them off, right?
Anyway, keep it up! Can't wait to see what happens next 🙂

Day Two, Part OneParticipantNine MusesDAY TWO, PART ONE
After eating a dinner of roasted vegetables, rich soups with ambrosia crumbs, and fruit-flavored nectar, the CBers were led back to their rooms, where they slept peacefully all night. One CBer would not awaken.
Eventually, morning came on Mount Olympus. Moondrop got up, got dressed, and stepped into the hallway. It looked as if everyone else was still in their rooms, so Moondrop decided now was a good time to return her book to the Library. She began to walk down the hallway, when she noticed a dark stain on the carpet in front of one of the doors.
Concerned, Moondrop knocked on the door. “Are you okay?” She asked.
There was no response.
Moondrop knocked again, much harder this time. “Are you okay?!” She shouted.
Still, no response.
She tried to open the door, but it was locked. Moondrop swallowed down her fear and decided she needed help from one of the gods.
Moondrop stepped into the warm air outside, her eyes searching for someone to help her. “Is anyone awake? I need help!”
Finally, she spotted a goddess, who was busy carving a bow from a branch. She had fair skin and medium brown hair tied in a bun, and wore an outfit in varying shades of green. Moondrop’s heart leapt to her throat–this was Artemis!
“Um, hello? Lady Artemis?” The goddess looked up to examine Moondrop.
“What do you need?” Artemis’s voice was neither cruel nor friendly. Her eyes were a vivid green, with a ferocity in them Moondrop had only seen in animals’ eyes.
“There’s a weird, dark stain under one of the doors, and when I knocked on the door, no one answered. And, the door was locked,” Moondrop said. “I just want to…make sure they’re okay.”
Artemis stood up. “Take me to them.” While her voice was strong and commanding, it wasn’t nearly as condescending as Athena or Hera’s had been. Moondrop led Artemis to the door the dark stain was coming from.
When Artemis touched the door, it swung open, revealing the horrific scene inside. Moondrop screamed, and even Artemis looked aghast.
The carpet was completely ruined. Like, unusable ruined. It would probably have to be thrown out, maybe even burned! It was tragic, considering how lovely the carpet had been. Lazerbat was also dead. He’d been stabbed. But, the carpet!
The other CBers emerged from their rooms to comfort Moondrop, and Rainbow discussed theories with Wreeboo. Lumi felt sick to her stomach and had to walk outside to get some fresh air.
Artemis pressed her fingers to Lazerbat’s forehead. “Whoever did this must have known what they were doing. I can’t bring him back to life, there’s some sort of block.”
“Athena and Zeus said they couldn’t bring back Dreamii, either,” Sterling said.
“Hmm.” Artemis didn’t give any indication as to whether it might be related.
Lumi was outside, glad to be away from the drama. She sat outside on the steps to the door of the hall, letting the sun warm her face. The streets of Olympus were almost empty–which made sense. Lumi was pretty sure Mount Olympus had a low population.
“So, someone died, is that it?” A voice said. Lumi looked up to see none other than Dionysus.
“Oh. You again,” Lumi grumbled.
“You sound awfully disappointed.” Dionysus sat down on the step beside her.
