I've recently read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and I thought it was okay, but I don't know why it's so famous!!!! I guess it really captures the time period, but I got bored a lot in it…
Fun fact: I know someone who is ACTUALLY named Tom Sawyer!
I also had a great-uncle named Tom Sawyer!

EarthMy brain can't think of a lot rn, but did anyone else read Ms. Rapscott's Girls? That was my favorite book for a long time when I was younger. Or Doll Bones by Holly Black? That one is so nostalgiac for me too, I'm not that into creepy stuff but it's SO GOOD.
KALI! I THOUGHT YOU WERE A NICE LITTLE CAPTCHA! COME BACK HERE! (she just cursed omg)

Milly Sunstar ParticipantI LOVED Doll Bones. Holly Blacl also helped write the Spiderwick Chronicles, has anyone read those? They are a super quick read, but really cool!

EuropeI think a really overrated book is Wonder by R J Palacio — it's okay if you disagree with me, but I think August is too self-pitying and doesn't grow as much as I'd like him to. Also, in Auggie and Me, I would have liked Charlotte to get the award.
A totally underrated book is Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell. There's also a prequel she wrote for World Book Day — Skysteppers. My favourite characters are the 13 girls who live in a tree, followed closely by Safi and Anastasia. You have just got to read it! Also, if you are familiar with it, I suggest her other books too. Many authors fall into the trap of writing kids about six years younger than they really are, but she's as close as any human could get. Give it a try and see what you think!
