Nox was woken up, rather rudely, by the loud chirping of a bird, and a couple crashes and bangs. Stumbling out of bed, and opening the door of their hotel room, Nox blinked in surprise, ducking their head down just in time to avoid a blue bird streaking into her room.

A tangle of luggage and limbs lay outside in the hall, with a person sprawled on the floor, a boy scrambling to pick up the luggage spilling all over, and a girl trying to lift up a luggage cart that had fallen on its side. A cow sniffed, flicking their tail.

"… what?" Nox said.

The boy looked up from his armful of jars of chocolate hazelnut butter, and promptly dropped them all again as he lifted his arm to wave. "Uh–hi–I'm Lazerbat. Sorry about the disturbance, Bertha accidentally ran into Kitty Cat and Quill's luggage cart."

Nox nodded. "Alright."

His expression faltering, Lazerbat continued, "Kitty Cat fell down, and I think Basil flew into your room."

As Lazerbat helped the person up from the floor, Kitty Cat, Nox presumed, Quill poked their head into Nox's hotel room. "Basil? Are you there?"

Stepping aside, Nox let Basil fly past, and the blue bird landed on Quill's shoulder.

"What's happening?" a sleepy voice called out.

Nox looked up. Leo, who was in room 27, had poked his head out of his door, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

"What is happening?" a new person asked.

Nox looked around. Two girls had appeared at the end of the hall.

Lazerbat quickly explained how the cow, Bertha, had crashed into Quill and Kitty Cat's luggage cart. They had arrived together to the Hotel De Flores, and so had the two new girls, Jaybells and Feline Fantasy.

Nox surveyed the hall, as things began to die down from the exciting start to their morning. On the second floor of the Hotel De Flores, there were exactly eight rooms. She had arrived two days ago, and Leo had been staying at the hotel for about a week now. With the five new people, they would fill up all the rooms on the second floor, except for the last one, at the end of the hall. 

I wonder why Lazerbat was carrying so much chocolate hazelnut butter.

Well, it didn't particularly matter, did it? To each their own.

Nox helped Kitty Cat clean up some of the luggage she had spilled, and then, headed back inside her room.

This one's a little bit short, and a little bit boring, but I just needed to introduce everyone XD and I know that hotels don't do check-in in the morning but … shhhhhh, plot convenience. 

Imagine cancelling a ski lodge a single part in, haha, haha, haha …

… this is the second time I've done it.

Ok, I should probably stop starting big projects XD I just don't have the time/motivation to do this right now, so, yes, tis me, but I'm cancelling this, so uh … 🙂
