King LazerbatParticipantA/N: Sorry it took so long! Here is the new part!
I wait for a while, still hidden in the secret compartment, when I hear a sound of metal shuffling. One of my knights runs over, and knocks on the door.
"King Lazerbat! I'm hear to get you to saftety!"
I'm a bit wary, but I leave the compartment. "Were shall we leave-"
In that instant, he takes his sword and thrusts it into my stomach, sending a long feeling of immense pain up my body. It's not a new sensation, as I've been stabbed before. And luckily the sword was short.
I fall to my knees, trying to stop the bleeding from the stab wound. The pain is still ringing up my body. I look up to the guard, and he's smirking. A couple more cloaked figures with knives and bows come over.
I glare at the guard, but he just kicks me in the head, and it feels like my skull just cracked. I fall over, barely moving, and close my eyes. I hear the guard kick my back, and then turn to the other theives.
"Some King! Can barely take a kick and a stab!"
A couple of the others chuckle. One of them starts walking away. "We should leave before he gets reinforcments."
I quickly grab the sword from my chest, and lodge it right into the theif disguised a s a guards head. The other theives are too slow to respond, as I jump from the ground onto the table, then onto of the the theives, stabing him in midair. But the others still have their bows pointed at me.
"Move a muscle and we'll shoot!" One of the commands, a bit hastily. They must have been ordered not too kill me. I decide to test this, and I run forward and tackle on of them.
Arrows are shot from all their bows. But they suddenly swirl around, and pierce each of the the thieves in the head. They all fall down.
From the shadows, a figure approaches. She is wearing a silver-black robe, and has an array of weapons with her. It includes a staff that they must have been the thing that reversed the arrows.
"Thank you very much, um-"
"Call me th3mysticw0lf. It's amazing to see you, King Lazerbat." She says, kneeling.
"Get up. You just saved my life, that's no reason to kneel for me. Matter of fact, I should be doing that for you." I say, grinning. This is the exact kind of wizard I'm looking for. I might be on the way to getting my new team together.
"I do have a proposition for you." I offer.
"Can you offer it after we rid the castle of these theives?" She replies.
"Of course." I say, pulling out my sword.

LazerbatParticipant"So, you just saved my life and helped me rid my castle of theives. How much should I repay you for?" I asked.
Th3mysticw0lf put up her hand. "I'd rather not get payed. I noticed that these theives had knives with elblems of the guild. That's not a good thing."
"But the guild is our allies! Why would they attack?"
"That's the problem. I'd like to join your group, as long as the first thing we do is investigate this."
I sighed. It looked like there would be no negotiation. After a couple days of planning, we packed our supplies and headed off on our horses.
After a couple days, we finally reached a resting spot near a tree. Th3mysticw0lf was walking towards it when I noticed something suspicious. "WAIT!" I tried to yell, but it was too late.
A net sprung up, capturing her. Right then I was tackled to the ground by someone. When I looked up, I saw an elf with brown eyes.
"State your buissnes, or prepare to die." She said. "This is my territory."

King LazerbatParticipantI can feel my pulse quickening, and I stepped back.
"Please, we mean you no harm. We are only trying to pass through." I say.
The figure steps closer, a bow still up.
"Why should I let you and your friend go?" The elf says.
I glance over at th3mysticw0lf, who gives me a solemn nod. In a moment, she cuts the net lose, and falls down. The elf immediatly sees, and is about to release an arrow when I grab my shield, blocking the three incoming arrows.
Th3mysticw0lf looks over at me. "I'll go for her, you shield me."
I pause. "W-wait. Don't kill this person. I feel like they could be a good addition to the team."
This doesn't go well with th3mysticw0lf. "Are you kidding me-"
"Please." I say.
She gives an I-can't-believe-this look, and rushes from underneath my shield. I pull out my sword.
After many exchanges of blows and arrows, we finally have the elf at a standpoint. She stares right at us.
"What are you waiting for? Huh?"
I put my hand up. "We're not going to kill you, don't worry." I give th3mysticw0lf a look, and she puts down her daggers.
"I'm guessing you have heard of the growing power of the Dark elf king, right?"
The elf looks surprised. "Wait, you work for him? I knew you were evil!"
"No, no. The complete opposite. I'm King Lazerbat, and this is th3mysticw0lf. We are the beggining of a special strike force with the mission to take out the Dark elf king- or at least deliver some damage. I've seen your impressive skills, and I would like to see if you might join us in our journey."
The elf smirks. "My name is Myrila, and it would be a pleasaure to negotiate with you two."
After a long time of negotiating, Myrila decided to join us. She invited us to stay in her house for the night- a small and cozy cabin in the forest.
"We should rest up tonight, we have a long walk tomorrow." I say, as we enter the cabin.
"What do you mean? Where are we going?" Myrila asks.
Th3mysticw0lf pulls out the map, and points to the spot. "We are going to the large city of Taedmorden- also known as the most heavily populated and most crime-ridden town this side of the peaks."

King LazerbatParticipantA/N: I'm sorry this part is coming so late!
The morning light shone through the windows, interrupting my otherwise dreamy sleep. I got up, and started to walk down the hall. This little cabin had been very relaxing to sleep in. I went to Th3mystice0lf's room and knocked rappidly on the door.
"Time to wake up! It's morning." No response. She must already be downstairs. I was about to turn around and head down when something strange caught my eye. A silvery-black oil leaking from inside her room.
I couldn't stop staring at it. It was my only thought… I shook my head and walked away. I have no idea what that was.
Walking down the spiraling wood staircase, I smelled a sweet aroma of eggs and pancakes. As I guessed, Th3mysticw0lf was down there. So was Myrila, she was at the stove top throwing together a bunch of ingredients into a pot.
"G'morning!" She said, clearly distracted.
"Morning." I replied.
Th3mysticw0lf looked up from her map, and saluted.
"Hello sir! Th3mysticw0lf at your service!"
I chuckled, and sat down on one of the chairs at the table. "Good morning to you as well."
Th3mysticw0lf slid a large tan map across the table to me, and I started looking at it.
I looked up. "You made this yourself? It's really good."
She smiled. "Yep. I've actually studied cartography for many years."
She leaned over and pointed at a certain spot. "This will be our travel route to get to Taedmorden."
Just that moment, Myrila walked over with a couple plates. "Alright, who wants frog pancakes?"
After a couple hours of eating, preparing and planning, we all got on our horses and headed off. Thanks to Th3mysticw0lf's genious route planning, it only took us a couple hours to reach Taedmorden.
Right when we reached the outside gates, I could already hear all the chaos inside the city. I had been here previously, and it seemed like nothing had changed. I put my hand on a blue stone tablet, and it clicked in. The doors slammed open, and we entered the city.
For some reason, I missed all the anarchy and disorder of this city. I was so used to the peace and order of my kingdom. While strolling down the brick streets on our horses, we almost ran into someone every second because the roads where so busy. There was so much yelling I couldn't hear my own thoughts.
Just that second, Victor landed on my shoulder. I couldn't hear him, so he motioned towards an alley way. We all strolled into it. Finally it was a bit quieter.
"Victor! The last time I saw you was at the castle! How is everything going?"
Victor didn't seem to be in the mood to converse. "Everything is fine. I'm requesting all three of you can please leave this place immediatly. I've heard rumors that elite assasins are here, and I don't want you in danger."
I shook my head. "The chances anyone would fight a king with two wizard allies-"
Just that second, a grappling hook shot down at me and snatched my sword. It zinged back up into the hands of a cloaked figure.
Victor sighed. "Case in point."
I jumped off my horse. "I need you all to take our horses to somewhere safe. I'm going to try and get my sword back."
"But-"
"Just do it." I said sternly. Myrila nodded, and all three of them, with my horse, headed off.
I sighed. Now thieves are one part of my Taedmorden memories that aren't the fondest.
