Hmm.

– I love fantasy, especially ones with intricate worldbuilding details, interesting characters, lore and history behind things.

– I feel like this falls into 'aesthetic'. I prefer brains over brawn, but actually think agility and speed is a cooler fighting tactic (in stories anyway) – like a house cat as opposed to a dog or a lion.

– Denim is my favorite pants/shorts thing, but not skinny – either stretchy or looser. Definitely comfort over fancy. Blue and purple are my favorite colors, and I like cool green/blues way better than red/orange/yellow. 

hmmm… let's see…

– I usually wear black t-shirts

-I wear gray or darkly colored pants

-I usually wear crocs

-I have a messy hair style 

I got it! My aesthetic is a terrible fashion sense 😐 

I actually got interested and looked up aesthetics – did you know that there is literally a Coastal Grandmother aesthetic??

Anyway, I still haven't found an existing one that actually matches what I think of as my aesthetic… I'd say I kind of go for glamorous stuff (which means my own idea of glam, not necessarily what's generally thought of as glamorous) mixed with more real genuine things?? I often don't like the actual trends out there.

Anyway, I tend to like bright colors and elegant-but-girly things? I don't think elegant is quite the right word – I don't like to be too formal, but I don't like stuff that's just plain or baggy or sloppy. So for instance, I really like to wear skinny jeans (either light blue or medium, bright blue, not navy or dull blue) and ankle boots and some sort of pretty t-shirt, with a few accessories like a bracelet to add something extra. 

In general I guess my aesthetic is (following Silver Crystal's example here :D) sunsets, sea-green and peach color combos, garnets, the excited hush of wonder that falls over a room when everyone realizes it's raining, golden sunlight in the evenings, family evenings round a fire, evening dresses, Japanese maple leaves glowing against a blue sky, Carlos Baute songs, dewdrops on the grass, the list goes on 🙂

My aesthetic has developed a bit over the last few months 🙂 It involves:

Bright, happy, clear, varied colors like scarlet and sunset orange; concerts and journeys and boats sailing across seas, going on new journeys; vivid sunsets over cities; sunrises; red roses; glorious, happy weddings on sunny days in old European cities; revolutionary-looking adventurers with strong personalities, becoming philosophical and looking for new horizons; fonts like Gabriola and Comfortaa; concerts and journeys and going on boats to cross new oceans;  dangly earrings; wrap tops; skinny jeans; families and friendships; Carlos Baute songs; warm, sunny fall days; beaches at evening; gardens; birdsongs.

-I own two pairs of Crocs (the shoes in case it's not clear). one pair is green and black and the other pair is swirly rainbow.

-I love all animals, especially the ones that people don't like. snakes, spiders, bugs, horrifying ocean creatures, you name it. I also know about lots of obscure animals like nudibranchs, caecilians, and tuatara.

-when someone describes me it goes like "wears black, has dyed hair, has a pet snake, likes spiders" and that scares people but when they actually meet me I'm a cinnamon roll

-I've been described as "a fever dream", "a chaos gremlin", "the Lizard Lorax", "a terrifying human being", and "a very small problem"

-I eat things I shouldn't eat: reese's peanut butter cup wrapper, cake off a dirty parking lot, watermelon rinds, a marshmallow with rocks stuck to it, random leaves in my backyard

-I love reading fantasy books 😀

-I'm a gamer but have only played a few video games but I'm really good at them

-on rare occasion I say something funny
