Li Bai was one of the greatest poets in China to ever exist, at least according to common consensus. He lived during the Tang dynasty, and one of his most famous poems roughly translates to 'Quiet Night's Thought', which is also coincidentally the only poem of his I've ever memorized. Or ever read. Yea, I'm not a particularly good student XD

    I'm not too good at poetry, but I want to name a character in my story Willow Liu, so I can cackle about their name translating to Willow Willow.

i wonder…will anyone guess me?

here's a little poem i wrote, because why not?

Peace? We do not know that.
Violence? That is all we know.
Trust? No term for that.
We cannot trust anyone.

Here, all that should remain
Is the violence
And the shouts
And the screams
Of dying agony
Of pain

Here, all that should remain
Is corpses
And dead bodies
Flowers
A sign of peace
But they're fake

Here, all that should remain
Is silence
Killing for your life
Running for your life
Hiding
Competition

But..
Who ever said we had to follow the rules?
What if we rebel?
What if we just…stop?
Stop killing?
No more contestants?
No more…survivors?

What if we start..
…a new era…
…of peace?

Who can get what it's based on?

Fun fact: Li Bai, in addition to being a skilled poet, was also said to be a talented calligrapher and a martial arts master.

personification, are you perhaps poem writer? That's my best guess, judging from the iconic use of ellipses.
