Backstory: Kate has one older sister named Maggie. Their parents (who were both witch and wizard) died in a mysterious accident when Kate was 12. She and Maggie went to live with their Uncle Gerard, who is nice but stern. Maggie just moved out recently because she got married to a man named Henry Steppe. He is a wizard.

I haven't been active on here in a while, and what better than to start that streak again with a Harry Potter Solo Write? I mean, I know it doesn't matter what I think, but whatever.

Personality: Blunt and straight to the point; serious about his studies and doesn't like to stray from school; quiet; self-critical; doesn't like to speak up in class unless called upon; closed-off from other students; lives for his future, not for the present; slightly apathetic, but mostly just moody; very organized; hard on himself; has very poor judgement; gets in to trouble easily because he tries to do his own thing and doesn't like to listen; very intellegent; has confidence issues, especially when dealing with magic/casting spells.
Appearance: cinnamon-colored skin; deep brown eyes; curly, dark black hair that hangs over his eyes; both his ears are pierced with a small (fake) diamond stud and there is an identical but smaller stud on the right side of his nose; he has long arms and legs and stands 6'3" tall; very thin, definitely hasn't hit a gym in his life, but he does like to run.

Dislikes: loud noises; animals of any sort; awkward social situations; talking to other people; speaking in class voluntarialy; being alone for too long (to elaborate, he doesn't like people, but he doesn't like to be alone either. that's why he enjoys the library. there is other people there, but he doesn't have to talk to them)
Backstory: Aspen was born in the states, in the middle of nowhere Kentucky. Both of his parents are muggles, and Aspen's magical abilities did not come into light until his ninth birthday. Aspen attended a muggle school for kindergarten through fifth grade. He was often labeled as weird, a loner, stupid, etc. When he turned nine, his parents started noticing that there was something different going on with their son. Magic. People in town called them the witch family and they were isolated from everyone else. The summer before Aspen was going to start sixth grade, homeschooled of course, the letter for Hogwarts came in. As muggles, Aspen's parents didn't know what it was, or how to get him there. So they kept him in Kentucky for years one and two. The school noticed he wasn't in attendance, and sent someone to get him to England. Aspen's parents let him go without a fight. They knew it would be better for him, even though they were worried about his previous isolation. Aspen wanted a fresh start once he got to Hogwarts, so he began asking to be adressed by his last name, Antelejo. It was mostly a success. Aspen attended Hogwarts starting at year three, and the rest is up to you :).
