Aravis:

I knock on the manor front door, and it opens by itself. Ooh, spooky – but I'm not scared of anything. I step in.

I'm greeted by a blast of music from the CD player in the room. There are some CBers and AEs scattered around, talking. They all glance up when I come in. I pause in the doorway, trying to look like I'm making a striking entrance. Then I head over to someone who's just introduced herself as Periculosa, because I've got to start talking to someone and I think Periculosa looks fun. I wait to be noticed, and then say, "Hi, I'm Aravis, Poinsettia's AE. You're Periculosa, right? Who's your CBer?"

Juliet:

I sidle in after Aravis. Hey, this actually looks fun. Someone's  standing near the door, looking shy – Poinsettia tells me that's Lyric. I wonder if I should strike up a conversation.

Poinsettia: 

I'm going to check out the corn maze. I go outside into the darkness, and peer through the waving cornstalks. Then I gasp – something white is waving there… Oh, it's just a paper ghost.

Two other people are walking up ahead – I recognize them as Strawberry and Mira, from their costumes. I hurry to catch up with them. "Hi!" I say. "Nice to have some company in this spooky corn maze! I'm Poinsettia. Are you Strawberry and Mira?"

:Oh gosh. Not again…:

:Tempest looks up at me and asks if we should go and find Crisis to apologize. ":I… yeah," He looks like he feels… guilty. More than me, and I feel bad too. I frown at him and as he starts to walk I gently hold him back. ":But it's not your fault, ok? It's no one's fault.:":

Ever

We walk in, and I can't really describe how scary the corn maze is. I finally begged Starli into letting me go in, and I kinda regret it. But I think Cretesa's just as scared as I am. I don't realize it through all the jump scares, but I think I might be holding her hand. I don't know who grabbed whose hand though. Jump scares, I keep walking through. And then we're out! 

If anyone wants to talk to my AEs who haven’t really interacted with any other AEs yet, I’m fine with that, since Rora's AEs who were talking to them before are not responding. Also Ladybug is a literal insect and she is crochet. She’s not a human.

!!! Ladybug !!!

“!!! Candied apples? !!!” I ask the AE in the sailor outfit from Sailor Moon. “!!! Yes they are candied apples! They are not mine though! !!!” 

Just then Lore gives me an apple. “!!! Thanks! !!!” My hat tumbles off my head and into the snacks on the table. Oh well. It wasn’t fitting right anyway and someone else can take care of it. 

I chomp into the candied apple. Hmm. It doesn’t taste very sweet…wait a minute!!! I. Have. Been. Tricked. And NOBODY tricks Ladybug. At least not without…

I’m reaching for a certain box I’ve stashed away safely and preparing for revenge, when Lyric happens to glance my direction. She rushes over frantically and holds the box firmly (she’s already guessed that I brought the spiders after all and the minute I’m not looking will ask the hosts of the party where there is tape that will seal them forever out of sight). 

“Ladybug,” she says, sounding very uncomfortable about the spiders, “How about we go find Natalie and Kaela and you can go into the forest and calm down and try to forget about it? Or the corn maze.”

“!!! Buuuuuuuut Kaela will get freaked out. We have to stay inside. !!!”

“Then Natalie will go with you.”

Drat. Now Lyric will yank poor Natalie from whatever conversation she’s in and I don’t get my revenge. Grrrrrrrr.

Just Ladybug’s part for now, since Rora’s AEs haven’t responded yet. And…I'll just be heading off to find some tape…

Ever

I regain normal-ness when Cretesa snatches her hand from mine. I turn slightly red, judging by the heat in my face, and I try to talk to her un-awkwardly. "So.. that… that was scary," but then my thoughts return. I smile widely. "And kind of fun, actually!" I didn't hate it! Well, I did, but I'm proud of myself for going in. And I'm glad Cretesa came with me. It was better to have her there.

:Ellerie:

:I don't believe anything Tempest is saying at the moment, but I leave it alone because I get it. I nod at them, and then we actually start walking, looking for Crisis.:

:I really hope Crisis is okay. They seem nice and I hate that I scared them off. First Indy, now Crisis. It kind of makes me nervous. Am I really this bad at making friends?:

:We do find Crisis eventually, and I see them in the distance and walk swiftly that way. They're still running. ":Crisis! Wait, please,:" I beg, trying to catch up. :

^The ladybug girl takes a bite of the candy apple, but her eyes narrow and she frowns.  Someone comes over and begins talking to her, so I shrug and take an apple from the AE handing them out.  He's dressed as a plague doctor. "Cool costume!" I compliment him before taking a bite of the treat.

It has a distinctly not-apple taste and texture.  The plague doctor boy looks like he's trying hard not to laugh.  I've been TRICKED!  But the candy "apple," which I realize is actually an onion, doesn't actually taste bad. "Hey, these are good!" I tell him. "You should try one!"  The smirk fades from his face.^

Lazuli

A girl with a Camp Half-Blood t-shirt approaches Cassidy and they begin talking.  Cassidy glances over to me, as if to ask if it's okay if they talk, and I nod.  Whatever's going on between them, I'll leave them to it.  The only problem is that I have nothing to do again. 

I watch the crowd for someone to talk to or something to do.  I notice a worried-looking person who looks like they're running away.  I wonder if they're okay.  Without really thinking about it, I follow them.  As I get closer, I can see that their black hair is in twin-tails and they're wearing a dress. "Hey, is everything okay?"  I ask, out of breath from running after them. 

"I like your costume!" Cassidy blurts out, and it might be my imagination, but I think her cheeks are tinted pink, too. Probably just wishful thinking. 

"Oh wow, thank you so much!" I say, a little surprised, because her costume is so elaborate and it looks like she spent hours on it and her makeup, compared to my own simple costume. I went to tuck my hair behind my ear before remembering that they were in two fishtail braids. 

"Do you like Percy Jackson?" I asked. "It's my favorite book series."
