Are Bach lyrics in classical music okay? Like, a cantata? they're in German and I've never met a Bach cantata I didn't like.

ELO, named after the chess player Arpad Elo, is a rating system used to determine a player's relative strength to other players. Most chess sites give you an Elo, starting with 800 when you haven't played any games on the site. 100 ELO is someone who doesn't know any strategy, just learned the rules of the game. I'm about 1000. 2000 is an amazing achievment, and the top grandmasters are over 2800 elo.

@Sine I dunno what my rating is, but I beat pretty much everyone I play. Which isn't much to brag about. I have beat an 8, 11, 14, 14, 52 year olds. Pretty good, I think…?

Are those players strong ones? Like, do they know any good strategy besides the rules of the game? (i.e. don't move your queen out to early, gain control of the center, castle as soon as possible, etc.) if no, your rating could be all over the place, but if yes, yours is probably pretty close to mine 😉
