DUMB OLD COLD NHOW CAN YOU LIKE THE COLD?!?!?!?!?!?!
The only months not cold around here are the summer and a little of the spring + fall. We had a blizzard on April Fool's Day once. Of course, I wasn't born yet…
Ah summer… 104 degrees. Pure heaven.

Lucky! It has been a very warm winter here in Georgia, which is not normal, 'cause in normally gets really cold. I was able to walk outside in a t-shirt and jeans at the beginning of November, but now *finally* I need to wear long-sleeves and a coat. Hopefully we'll get a few flakes of snow (that'll melt immediately) sometime soon. I'll pray for your aunt, RD!

OliveParticipantI live in Ontario. And it has snowed lots. But the snow always melted. It's still brown here. And it's December. And I'm in Ontario. In Canada. This is embarassing.
Oh, and R~D~, hows your aunt?
@ZB: I'm sorry about your aunt. I have a relative who lost her hair via cancer. (I actually didn't know until she came to my house and I saw her without her wig) Does your aunt wear a wig too?
Cancer really stinks does it not? And apparently, more people have been diagnosed in the higher advancement of the years. But I know what Admin said. That that's a good thing. But it also seems like more people have cancer than, say, the early 1900s, when not that many people were even aware of cancer. Strange…
@Analesia: Yes. I agree. HOW DO YOU PEOPLE LIKE THE COLD?

[V][I][D][A]ParticipantTo Olive and everyone else who has talked about cancer on here:
I just wrote a complete story of how and when my grandpa died. I accidentallly erased it…. so here is a summary.
My grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer. He was so far along they couldn't cure it. Exactly 28 days later he died, September 15th, 2009. I was only 9, so it was hard and I understood more than I thougtht I did! My lil. bro was only 5 so I don't think he understood at all until he saw my grandpa's dead body (we cremated him). My sister was 7 but I know she understood well enough. it was a school day and we still had to go to school. A bunch of kids started saying stuff like …"why ya crying, git spanked??…??" Mrs. Capetillo (my teacher) told everyone to leave me alone because I was SUPER DUPER sad because my grandpa died. That helped a lot… *rolls eyes*! It was really tough!!!!!!!
So thanks!!!!
We're so sorry about your grandpa, Vida. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Many cancers today are found at a much earlier stage, when the likelihood of a cure is much greater. You and your family can be thankful that your grandfather lived a long life, long enough to know and enjoy his grandchildren–that's you and your siblings.

Ok, guess what!!! It actually snowed today! (If you can call it snowing) Snowflakes actually fell from the sky!! (and melted immediately upon touching earth) Haha, that's so ironic since yesterday I made that post about it being a warm winter in Georgia.
Spamboy says gfiu. "Go figure", possibly?

WA... but in MO@MJ: AWESOME!!!!!! It's SO SO SO SO cold here in MO. I can barely stand it. I go outside for a couple seconds and want to just fall over from being so freezing. But it's not even snowing.
Thank you everyone SO MUCH. She is doing really great, actually, and is looking so much better than when I first saw her. It's such a blessing to have all of you guys praying for someone you don't know…. that's just awesome!
@Vida: Wow, that's so amazing. Your church and mom? WOW, thank you. She's healing well, I think, thanks to everyone's prayers. THANK YOU.
You're welcome, RD. We're glad she's doing so well.

Phillis :)ParticipantIt's funny how a thread titled something like SNOW!! can turn out to be so sad and all about cancer. 🙁 *Will pray for everybuggy's relatives, and other people*
Anyway I love snow, but right now were getting like 3 feet where I live (Planet Phillis for those who don't know :)))) but now the snow's getting a little annoying. 😛 Mean snow!
