Tiffany W. ParticipantMacon–
Ranger's Apprentice?
-
Macon W.Participant16
Middle Earth :DNope. Keep guessing.
Ranger's Apprentice was a good guess, though. I like those books. 🙂
-
-
HolmesParticipantI will give you one that's so hard your brains will hurt.
"The canning jar-I forgot it again, Chuck. I just don't think I'll ever get it safely to Mr. Bass with the Basidium air in it."
-
Amelia C.Participant12
my own little worldNo idea. But I have one.
"How exciting! What does she do? Eat people? Push people out of windows? Throw knives?"
"All of the above, I believe."
The judge clapped like a happy child. "It's nice not to feel so alone."
Do you know what this is?
-
Tiffany W.ParticipantUmm… The Last Dragon? No, that can't be right.
-
Amelia C.Participant12
my own little world@Tiffany:
No. That's not it. I didn't really know, but the series is pretty popular…I don't know if I've ever read The Last Dragon. I don't know, though, 'cause I got in a pretty surious dragon themed book phase.
-
-
-
HolmesParticipantDo you want me to tell you? I'll give you a synonym title:
Fantastic Journey to the Cloud Celestial Being.
-
Amelia C.Participant12
my own little worldI still have no idea. Apparently I'm not very diverse in what I read………
-
HolmesParticipantDon't worry, barely anyone has read it. Hint: it's by Eleanor Cameron. Another hint, the words in bold are very important. "The canning jar-I forgot it again, Chuck. I just don't think I'll ever get it safely to Mr. Bass with the Basidium air in it."
-
IvyParticipant12
CamelotI looked it up on google, because I have no idea. If you want to keep guessing, don't read any farther! It's called Time and Mr. Bass. ( I think)
Sir Spammy of Spamalot says iami. You are sure that's what its called Spammy?
-
HolmesParticipantIt's the same series, but look closely at that synonym title.
-
-
-
-
-
SCParticipantgone
FOR NARNIASomething something to the sky gods?
-
HolmesParticipant@SC
Waaaay off. I will give you a easier synonym title, that hopefully you can figure out.
Fantastic Journey to the Shiitake Mars
-
IvyParticipantIs it The Wonderful Flight to the Mushroom Planet???? I had to look it up on google.
-
HolmesParticipant*claps* You got it! Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah! Read it, it's pretty good.
-
-
-
-
LParticipantHere's one that could be easy, but then again… >:D
"Speaking of eye surgery, do you realize you have no tear ducts?"
"What? Really? And I thought I was just emotionally withdrawn. I'm also incapable of blushing, if that was going to be your next brilliant observation."
—
I'm also back and stuff, but I'm too lazy to do a cute little "I'm back" thread that nobody posts on anyway.
-
AshParticipant14
A galaxy far awayOooh! Cinder!
I can't wait for the next book. My friend introduced me to it, and when I was about halfway through I made The Prediction. She told me I was wrong, that she's not, and I went back to reading. The next day I discovered that my friend can be a Big Fat Dirty Liar. But it's ok, because it would be boring if she had confirmed my suspicions.
This could be easy.
"The wide world is all about you: you can fence yourselves in, but you cannot for ever fence it out."
Chickuu says xbtp.
~Ash out~
-
LParticipantThe Fellowship of the Ring.
That was almost too easy.
–L
-
AshParticipant14
A galaxy far awayeh. Yeah. I said it could be very easy.
Chickuu says ebfb.

GollumParticipant"In the beginning, there was light."
If you don't get this, I am assuming that Chatterboxing is against your religion.
-
IvyParticipantUmmm… is it from a creation myth? Wait, is it from the Ancient Persian one?
-
GollumParticipantIt's probably the most known creation story in the world. It might also be the least believed.
-
-
-
PiperC.Participant13
AtlantisNow that I'm looking at it, I'm thinking Genesis 1:1 from the Old Testament. Something about that "against your religion" kinda made me suspicious. Or if not, never mind.
-
GollumParticipant@PiperC.
It's the first line of the Bible. I think that was somewhat obvious. But don't worry, many people (including myself) don't go to church.
-
-
Everinne (PiperC.)Participant13
The Midnight SunYay! So that gives me the chance to post a quote! So let's see… *searches through her piles of books*
"I stretched out my body under the willow tree, my face feeling cooler in its shade. Somehow, I felt like I was one of those people. Someone taken out of one place and put into another. A place where I didn't belong."
Hope that's not too hard. I'll give hints if it is.
-
Everinne (PiperC.)Participant13
The Midnight SunIf that previous quote was too hard, here's another one:
"Mandy cut the cake. When she handed me my piece, she said without thinking, "Eat." The first bite was delicious. I finished the slice happily. When it was gone, Mandy cut another. This one was harder. When it was gone, no one gave me more but I knew I had to keep eating."
-
LParticipantElla Enchanted!!!!
I love that book! I read it all the time when I was younger, and wondered why it was so much like Cinderella.

-
meParticipantbleck
meh@ Amelia C–
That quote is from Tales from the Hood (Sisters Grimm) by Michael Buckley. Oh, and Everinne, I'm glad someone else read the Secret Series.
-
GollumParticipantGollumses loves the Secret Series!
-
-
Artemesia P.Participant13
CaliforniaHere's one:
"Writing stories is a kind of magic."
Hint: It's at the very end of the book, which is a big one.
-
LParticipantIs it… Inkheart? Sounds a bit like it.
-
MelodyParticipant13
Just being awesome@Artemesia P.
Awesome name. Is your quote from one of the Inkheart books?
