AmityGuestshe/herHi, everyone! I missed you all. I got a pixie cut and blue highlights, and I also got my ears pierced. I won a school writing contest for my grade, which isn’t that impressive because there were only three entries- but anyway, I’m still getting used to this new CB! I’m going to finish my ski lodge, finally, and I’m starting high school next year. Which is really weird, but yeah. *waves to everyone* 😀

SeadragonGuesthi!!!!!!
Hi all! It’s so good to read you again. My CBversary also happened while the CB was down (it was April 18th)–I’ve been on here for three years now, and so much has happened in my life since when I joined.
I am now almost a year at my new school, and have found a small group of friends and possibly more. I have also had one crush, who I hope falls into the “possibly more” friends group. I am in a mandatory class play, and I have the lead role, which is exciting, especially since I haven’t done much acting. (But I do enjoy it, so that’s good.) I’ve been having a lot of writer’s block in some areas, sadly, but I’ve started working on a new story, about two cousins who stay at their granny’s house in the country while she goes off to travel the world. I’m going to be in a concert soon, too, the day after the play performance and a day before a swim meet. Funny how everything always seems to happen at the same time…
It’s so nice to hear how everyone is doing. -
KatanaLunaGuestsimply somewhereEvery single day I checked CB, hoping it would open….I’m over the moon that CB opened and I get to see everyone!
A few updates:-Both my CBversery [March 14] (One year!!!!) and my birthday (March 8) passed
-We have those stupid end of year tests where they aren’t graded but you KNOW the teachers are judging you
-Today I’m auditioning for our school’s production of Matilda Jr. (Cross your fingers….er, keys? Electronic wiring?) which I’ve been practicing so hard for, despite the fact that we got our song thursday and we have the auditions now
-I went to Scotland and England for Spring Break which deserves a whole other post about. I learned sooo much Scottish history (My family’s from there) and it was indescribably wonderful
-I marathoned Lord of the Rings, and I maybe have a crush on Legolas
-I read the new Hunger Games (so sad!!!!)
-I wrote an almost two-page poem that I’m immensely proud of
-My twin and I are going to New Zealand together, just us and our grandparents from two and a half weeks in June because our grandfather, who’s from NZ, owns a sheep farm!!!
-My bestie is moving to Colombia, south america (need to clarify because i live in South Carolina and our capital is Columbia)
-I got accepted into a really-hard-to-get into arts camp at a college near us!!!!! I worked really hard to get into the vocal section, so I’m really excited for it!!!I’m sure there’s more but hello from Katana/KatanaLuna/Meredith

The Mindscape@Everyone who asked about Project Moxie! I keep forgetting to respond so if y’all are actually curious you can read this lol
So, it’ll be a short film (Originally only about a minute long while I was in public school, but it might get extended now that I have more time to work on it?) about an astronaut named Moxie fighting a alien monster that kinda looks like a lamprey (be warned, they look kinda freaky if you decide to look them up). It’s set on a desert-like planet themed off of the Grand Canyon, though the setting isn’t explored that much. Moxie is a pretty stoic and determined character, who fights for her mission of defeating the monster. She’s mostly composed of pastel colors and also will be voiced by my girlfriend which is exciting!
I’m gonna try to attach her reference sheet, hopefully it works? We’ll see

AmethystGuestWow, sounds nice! I’m sure it’ll be amazing, especially with you behind it:D

DarkvineGuestrandom freshman (until thursday)
they/themhey yall! I’m so happy that the CB is back 😀
things that have happened recently:
– I got a big new enclosure for my snake, Blink
– I survived the final exam for History class! Hooray!
– Speaking of which, there’s only a few days left of my Freshman year of high school… time flies, doesn’t it?
– I went to Shawnee National Forest and saw lots of cool snakes, mostly Cottonmouths
– I learned about Velvet Worms today! They’re close relatives of tardigrades and have slime cannons on their adorably squishy faces <3
– My sense of humor has taken a very strange turn
that’s mostly it, unless if you count the Snailpocalypse :/ -
