~*Well on that note, it’s time for Book Quotes presented by Pea Vine!!*~
“Do you think the Brownstone loves us? I do.” Isa said, wiping a tear from her eye.-The Vanderbeakers of 141st Street by Karina Yan Glaser.
“The names conjured the images of lofty chimes and faraway places, of quiet prairie dawns and rooftop aeries.” -Wildwood, Book 1 by Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis.
“Trees can’t tell jokes.
*^Why not? Trees could tell amazing jokes if they could talk!! Wanna hear one,
Callie?^*
~*Um, no thanks?*~
But we can certainly tell stories. And if all you hear is the whisper of leaves, don’t worry. Most trees tend to be introverts at heart.”-Wishtree, by Kathrine Applegate.~*Well, now that we have book quotes, what about some inspirational ones?*~
*^Okay, here are the inspirational quotes presented by us again!!^*
“A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor”-Franklin D Roosevelt
“No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow”-Maya Angelou *^That’s nice^*
“We should seize every opportunity to give encouragement. Encouragement is oxygen to the soul”-George M Adams“Believe you can and you’re halfway there”-Theodore Roosevelt *^This makes absolutely no sense to me, but I like it!^*
“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending”-C S Lewis ~*Why can’t you go back to beginning? I can. Or, maybe I can’t. Whoopsies*~
*^Let us now move on to the outstandingly amazing spring soundtrack!! From Pea Vine!
When It’s All Brand New-Curious George Soundtrack
Happy-Pharrel Williams
I Just Wanna Shine-Fitz and The Tantrums
Lovely Day-Bill Withers
Let It Grow- Dr. Seuss The Lorax Soundtrack *^Let it Go! Let it Go!! Can’t hold it back anym-^*~*Wrong song Willa.*~
*^Oh, um, sorry!^*
~*Well um, folks, it is time for Book of the Month from Moon Wolf!!*~
Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins
Sunrise on the Reaping is a dystopian YA prequel to the popular series the Hunger Games, and follows 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy, who is reaped for the 50th Annual Hunger Games, the Second Quarter Quell, where there are double the amount of tributes from before. The story is very tragic and beautiful, and I would definitely recommend reading this if you enjoyed reading the Hunger Games or YA dystopian in general. ~*Very interesting! I don’t love books though, so I’m gonna secretly get it for Willa from the library!! Mwahha!!*~*^I hear that you know. Not a secret anymore sadly^*
~*Sigh*~
*^Time for the amazing CB Quotes! From Pea Vine! Again!^*
“When you fall into a new music artists’ fandom and you wonder how you ever properly lived life
before. :p” -Hawkstar“Is it true that there’s a growing number of schools in America that are no longer teaching cursive as mandatory handwriting? *^I know cursive,
Zealatom!*^ I’m very curious. Like, isn’t writing cursive a good skill to have nowadays? I’ve been practicing it for a year and a half now and have found it’s very calming on the heart and mind.” -Zealatom“when you realize you listened to End of Beginning without even realizing that’s what it was :p” -Amethyst

First, we have the joke column! I’m excited to laugh!^*
~*I’m not, but let’s do it anyway*~
*^First off, we have a joke from Pea Vine. It is, which month can’t make a decision? Why MAYbe of course!! Haha!! I’m dying over here!
Next, we have a joke from Thunder! If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? Pilgrims! That’s so funny!!!^*
~*Yeah sure. I’m doing the rest.
Okay, so next is a joke from us. Which baseball player makes the best cake? The batter. Har har. Very funny*~
*^Aw, this isn’t as fun when you do it Callie. I’ll do the rest instead.^*
*^Our next joke is from Coyote. It says, will February March? Now, but April May. So funny!! I’m rolling around on the floor. Literally.^*
~*I’m gonna try my hand at middle school sayings and stuff. So is this right? That’s so tufff*~
*^I’m not sure. I think they would say to me rolling on the floor, the would text
💀. ^*~*I’m not sure about that. Well, we’re getting very off topic. We should go back to the joke column*~
*^Oh yeah. Our last but not least joke is from Moon Wolf. It says, “what did spring say when it was in trouble? May Day!” Oh goodness, these jokes are all amazing!^*
~*Uh huh. Sure. Let’s go to the advice column!*~
*^This month, we were all getting advice on the best genre of book to read!^*
~*Pea Vine said Mystery because it is intriguing and suspenseful!*~
*^Thalorwin said that you got to do action fantasy. Or, mythology. Just grab a book by Rick Riordan, and you’re set.^*
~*And finally, Moon Wolf said that she would personally say fantasy, because she loves escaping into different worlds.*~
*^Last month we asked you, because summer is on the horizon, what is a fun activity to prioritize this summer?^*
~*I’ll just say them all so we’ll move on to LOTM faster. First off, Pea Vine said “enjoy yourself! Try something new, but don’t forget to relax!” Very nice pea vine, very nice. Next, Thunder said “I would say hangin’ out with your friends is a priority. There’s a lot of fun events happenin’ in summer, and they’re perfect opportunities to call your friends and be like ‘I’m takin’ you to this event hehehe’ and then y’all can hang out together. I know I’m gonna try to do that.” That is something we all need to do better on. I love that Thunder!! Now Moon Wolf!! Moon Wolf said “Hanging out with friends! Especially since my social life has been pretty much dead throughout the school year because of all the homework and tests. So go take a walk in a park with your friends! Plan a game night! Go shopping.” Now, time for what we had said!! We said “swim as much as possible. I personally take summer swimming for granted cause I always am missing it so much when winter and springtime before he pool opens”*~
*^Yay!! LOTM time!! So, I wanna judge!!^*
~*Okay, just give us an honorable mention*~
*^aw. Fine. So,
Honorable mention!
Us! Riding Rollercoasters at sunset.Third Place!
Thunder, with “at home. Watchin’ Hermitcraft. Also wonderin’ what to do for the rest of my day ’cause I don’t really have many plans. At home. Watchin’ Hermitcraft. Also wonderin’ what to do for the rest of my day ’cause I don’t really have many plans.” This is very nice! Hope you enjoy podium!!Second Place
Moon Wolf! “Full flower moon” created a very vivid picture in my mind. So pretty!!First Place
Pea Vine!! Congratulations!! Field of Lilacs made my mind go crazy! Great job.^*~*Well then, the MCU is over! Hope all of our formatting went through right! Callie signing off. For now*~
*^Yes, hopefully! And thanks so much for reading this! It took like, 4 days. Anyways, have a nice May!! Also, it is National Nurses day! Those important dates really come in handy! Thanks again! Willa, signing off^*
