Cracker is a book you have to read.  If you never read it, go and get it!  It is all about this dog who was froced to give up her comfy life to be a search dog in the Vietnam war.  Rick Hanski is a dog handler who gets assaigned Cracker.  They head off to war, but are nearly killed.  Or are they killed already?
