I need your help! I've been in a bookclub for a couple of years, and I've always had trouble choosing a book. It's getting close to my turn to choose again, so I need some ideas. Some of the kids in it aren't the best readers in the world, so it can't be over 100 pages. If it is, they just don't bother reading it at all. Plus, some of the parents don't like wizards and witches, so it can't be anything to do with that. I'd really like some suggestions.
PLEASE!!!!!!

I would recommend Encyclopedia Brown by Donald J. Sobol. It is very mystery-like, if you like mysteries.

Okay, now that the school year has started, the moms changed the rules. It has to be at least sixth grade level and up, and if you don't read two or more of the books, unless you couldn't get the book, you're kicked out of the club. I think it's better now!! Thank you for your wonderful suggestions, and you don't have to stop sending in ideas, but they can be longer now!! Thanks!!

I would recomend any Roald Dahl book.

Try "Midnight Magic" by Avi if you like Avi. It's really good. It's something of a mystery, but sort of fantasy....... I don't know. But it's good. Though it may have a sorcerer in it..........
