Yeah, HPATDH again! Hermoine is saying it to Ron when he comes back-- by this she means that Dumbledore gave Ron the Deluminator (which led him back) because he'd always want to return. This is after she screams at him.

Harry Potter, Book 7. Harry's talking to Ron about Dumbledore's gift to him.

Yay!

"Look. I didn't ask for any of this to happen."

Hope I'm even getting the quote right, but I have a feeling a few of you should get it anyway.

All right, I TOTALLY got that quote wrong and to fix it would give it away, so I'm putting another one:

"There was a hand in the dark, and it held a knife."

Certainly not! There's nothing THAT creepy in LIW!

Actual;ly, in These Happy Golden Years, when she's teaching school and boarding with that family (it was Brewster, wasn't it?) there was a scene where that line could easily have been used.

Oh! Oh! The Graveyard Book?

Yes! There most certainly is a place in LIW that talks about a knife! Mrs. Brewster holds it, and it is at night, so it is dark. It was probably just a kitchen knife, though.
