Harry Potter Trivia
Open to all...

Open to all Potterheads!!!!

Here are the rules:
-You have to have read all the books.

-DO NOT comment until you can see the latest comment. We don't want to get mixed up.

-No questions that aren't in the series; e.x: what's Hermione's favorite food?

-NO CONSULTING THE BOOKS. IT'S CHEATING.

I think the rest is self-explanitory; you answer the trivia question, then post one of you own.

Question: Name all 7 Horcruxes.

Durmstrang in a ship, Beaubatons in a flying house lead by pegasuses. Don't remember who saw it first.

What is the first meal Harry eats at the Burrow?

Dumbledore saw it first.

Wasnt Dennis Creevey, Colin's little brother, the first to see them? Not sure...I also feel like it was Lee Jordan. Because he does pretty much everything, including bring a tarantula to school.

I think the first meal Harry had at the Burrow was breakfast, and it had toast, bacon, and... I don't know what else.

Could I add a question?

True/false Arabella Figg is a muggle.

If false, what category does she fall under?

Question: Who is Mark Evans?

Bonus: How old is he?

Mark Evans is the ten-year-old Dudley's gang beat up in the fifth book.

HP:"Beat up another ten year old? I know you did Mark Evans two nights ago."

DD: "He was asking for it."

New Question!

(Sorry, I didn't know which question to answer, or else I wouldn't have created a new question...)

I am a SUPER HARRY POTTER GEEK :) so sorry if this one is a bit hard :P

How many minutes is Cedric Diggory outside of the time limit in the 2nd task in the Triwizard Tournament?

I know, I know, super hard. Good luck, Harry Potterians!

Ten minutes?????????

Here's a toughie:

Who is the first person to make the house quidditch team as a first year in nearly a century?

There are two answers to this question. One that the book tells us and one you can figure oout on your own by reading between the lines. Technically only one is correct, but I will take both. Bonus points if you can guess both.

Um...Harry, and...James? As in, his father?

Harry is correct, but not James.

When Harry is accepted onto the Griffindor Quidditch team, everyone is astonished that he did it, because "first years never make their house teams!" and he is supposedly "the youngest house player in a century". But those claims are WRONG because, the very year before, another house quidditch player, another GRIFFINDOR even, made it onto her house team.

How do I know this? Never in the first book are tryouts held, the reason being that, clearly, Griffindor's team was full from the beginning of that year EXCEPT for seeker. That position was filled by Harry, meaning that there was no reason for tryouts. Therefore, EVERYONE ON THE GRIFFINDOR QUIDDITCH TEAM HARRY'S FIRST YEAR HAD BEEN ON THAT TEAM THE YEAR BEFORE!

If everyone on that team had been there the year before, than Oliver Wood would have been a fourth year, Fred, George, Alicia, and Angelina would have been second years, and KATIE BELL WOULD HAVE BEEN A FIRST YEAR.

So Katie Bell, not Harry Potter, was "the youngest house player in a century". While Harry's achievement was amazing and he is a great quidditch player, Katie did the exact same thing the year before.
