Okay. Same reason...

Okay. Same reason as last time. Uh, could someone make one of these when it gets past 25 comments? Thanks!:)

Okay. This'll disappear for a while, but we'll find it again, okay? Anyway, I'm lost outside my own dormitory, so I'll continue from there.

The clock ticked. In a few moments, it would be worth a detention if I was still outside my dormitory without authorization from the Headmaster/mistress. ((which is who, by the way? We still need to figure that out.)) And still, no Hufflepuffs had found me and helped me through. Unlike other Houses, Hufflepuff's eagle didn't talk. ((In the books we never get to see the Hufflepuff common room, so I'm taking poetic license here.))

"Please, cage," I whispered. Could it be that I misheard the prefect? "Um, mage! Rage!"

   The eagle didn't budge.

Tick, tock. I looked at my watch and saw it ticking, growing more and more panicky by the moment. I had always feared this happening...for one brief moment I wanted to run all the way to the Muggle world like the coward I was... but then I heard a dong of the bells and a voice saying, "Will all students out of their dormitories go inside at once, please. At once, please. Failure to do so will merit a detention. We will be patrolling the corridors for any signs of activity."

I was about to try 'stage' when I heard a voice behind me that made my heart stop.

((Heart-stopping voices are open to anyone.))

Whoops! I didn't see TNÖ's post when I wrote this. Just forget all that, okay? I'll take off where Belinda and her friends are taking me down to the kitchens.

I couldn't believe my luck. First I mishear the password, then I'm called some name that I don't even recognize but I know it's mean anyway, then I'm being taken somewhere I don't even know. What would they do with me? Maybe they'd - they'd throw me off the tower and leave me there forever and I wouldn't be able to move; maybe they'd jinx me so I was frozen so no one could hear me and then they would--

"I don't think we need to hex her," the Selwyn girl snickered. "She's petrified enough as it is."

Even in my terrified state, I felt my blood rise. "Why are you doing this to me?"

"You're a Mudblood," one of them said. "You're going to get what you deserve." I saw her take out her wand and point it at me.

   "Don't hurt me!" I yelled. "I'm scared -- "

"Oooh, poor you," Drusilla said. "You're scared. What are you going to do?"

I was so angry I didn't stop to think. I pulled out my wand, turned around in the air, and yelled, 'Brandolinenus!'

The Slytherin girls were so startled that they let me down. For a moment. Then they began laughing as I straighted out my robes.

"Brandolinenus?" Belinda Selwyn asked. "That's the true sign of a Mudblood -- when you start making up spells that don't exist."

Well, it had sounded like it could be a spell. All the spells blended in for me with all their confusing Latin names that I hadn't been too far off. But that wasn't the problem now. "Okay. What are you going to do with me?"

At that moment, I heard footsteps behind me. Was it one of the professors? We were supposed to be in bed now - if they found out we were still up, they'd give us detention! They'd -- I turned to Belinda, but she didn't seem to hear as she began to answer my question.

((Sorry about the other post. I didn't see it, but I like your way better. Let's use that))

"Well, it might be fun to hex you, or--" I broke off as a shape materialized out of the darkness behind the Mudblood. I tensed, ready for Filch to pop out from behind a tapestry.

"Peeves!" exclaimed Drusilla in a whisper. The Mudblood whirled around, tripped. I caught her, and pushed her down.

Peeves drew breath to shout, and we ran for it. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the Mudblood scramble to her feet as Peeves began to bellow for the teachers.

"Room of Requirement!" I hissed. It didn't work as well as it once had, but it would function. "It's just ahead!"

The door was already forming as we reached it. We dove in -- followed, to my dismay, by the Mudblood. The door slammed behind us, leaving us in total darkness and accompanied by the smell of wet ash.

I began to shiver. "Um, what is this place? And why is there ash all over the floor?"

"Room of Requirement," Belinda said. "There was a fire here during the war, Scorpius' dad told me."

"What's it for?" I asked.

"Whatever you require it to be, stupid," Belinda said.

My stomach knotted at the use of the word 'stupid.' "So what do we require it to be?"

"Er, I think we have to go around it three times or so telling it what we want," Belinda said. "Trouble is, I hear the teachers coming. We really don't have time for that."

Hearing her answer a question without calling me 'stupid' or 'Mudblood' made me relax a little, though I had a feeling she was just distracted and not suddenly having a nice streak. "I guess we should just hide here 'til the teachers pass." But even as I said that, I was thinking, Stay in a dark, ashy room with people who are out to get me for some reason until the teachers pass? Yeah, right.

Belinda turned to Drusilla. "Let's just leave here and take our chances. We can blame the Mudblood if we get caught."

"Good idea," said Drusilla.

As we began to leave, I thought I caught sight of something glowing from admid all the ash. What was it? But the Slytherin girls were hurrying me out the door, eager to run into a teacher and frame me, probably.

((I don't want to exclude anyone from this scene, so if anyone wants to come looking for us or something like that, you can. Because I like playing with TNÖ, but it shouldn't just become the 'TNÖ-and-Lena Roleplay'))

Can I stat from there? I just will, okay?

3 people came tumbling in: 2 Slytherins, and a Hufflepuff. One, a Slytherin, was a prefect I reconized as Drusilla ((what was it?)).

"What are you doing in here?" asked the other Slytherin, a 4th Year like me.

"I could ask you the same thing."I answered coolly.

"Uh, guys? Just a thought, we should proply not fight just now. Peeves might have followed us so we should think of something to do before teachers come." said the 2nd Year Hufflepuff ((right, Lena, yo were a 2nd Year?)).

"Just ask the Ravenclaw. They're supposed to be smart." said Drusilla.

I glared at her, but said to the Hufflepuff, "What's your name? Mines Aqua."

"((Uh, sorry, I forgot your name. *apologetic smile*)). It's nice to meet you, I think." answered *Lena*.:)

"And who are you?" I asked the 4th Year.

"Belinda Slewyn." she said shortly. I stared slightly at the sound of the name, but said nothing. The walls of the Room of Requerment were short of crumbling, and I was afraid to start a fight in case they fell. Drusilla had started to say something, when the doors of the Room started to open and in came.....

Okay, it's not that good, but it's the best I could do.:) Sorry I forgot your name, Lena.:):)

((That's okay. :) Anyway, I'm Lillian, and you're right, I am a second-year Hufflepuff. Um, but can I ask you why you're in here? I don't mind, of course, but how did you sneak out of the Ravenclaw dorm, find us all, and why? I'll leave it up to someone else to continue the story.))

Okay, what are we like suposed to do? And, Lena, I think that the headmistriss is Pro. McGunnigall. Did anyone answer my question? It was this: Is this going to be Albus Potter's First Year? I think it should be. Unless you already all said it was a different year.:)

No, it is Albus' first year. Okay, I guess we could have McGonagall. She'd be really old, but wasn't Dumbledore like, 150 or something? So that would be okay. McGonagall's still the Headmistress!

Except that JKR has stated that McGunnigal retired before Albus' first year. That, and none of us seem to be sure how to spell her name right (including me).

Admin just looked it up and corrected the spelling, TNÖ.

And THAT's definitely not how it's spelled. *checks books* McGonagall.
