I know, it always does that...well, at least I'll get to see my mom when she was FOUR YEARS OLD! lol... :) Um, anyway. When you've calmed down can you please continue?

*relieved sigh* Okay, that was terrifying. Thank you, Administrator and Lena, for the reassurance.

Now I will continue.

James ran his fingers through his hair, looking and feeling weary. The girls stared accusingly at him, and he immediately went on the defense.

"Look, am I not allowed to have a couple secrets? It's like you guys think that just because we sat together on the tran we're big pals or something." He was getting angrier; if Mom was here she'd tell him to calm down and take a deep breath, but these girls were seriously annoying him, and she wasn't here right now. "What I do is my business and nobody else's unless I choose to disclose it! I dunno who you guys think you are to try and dictate to me, but you're not helping! So just leave me ALONE!" He slammed the last word out with emninent force.

"Gee," said Keira. "Okay."

"We were only trying to help," added Lillian in a small voice. "We were worried."

James turned angrily on his heels and stalked away towards his friends at the Gryffindor table, leaving the girls and his brother staring, stunned, at his receding figure.

((Er, sorry, I'm in a bad mood.))

I felt a pang of hurt as James walked away. It was bringing back all those awful school memories for me. Especially 'It's like you guys think that just because we sat together on the train we're big pals or something.' I wanted to cry.

"Don't worry about it," said Keira comfortingly. "It's not just you or your fault; I was worried too." She tried to smile, but I saw her own lips tremble.

"At least he's not on detention with us," Keira said.

"Yeah," I said. "Probably the only good thing about the detention." A knot formed in my stomach. I had never been punished before. And I had no idea what magical punishments were like.

"Did your dad ever get detention?" I asked Albus, hoping that I could learn a little about what to expect.

"Oh, yes," Albus said. "Many times."

"Really? What did he have to do?"

"Well, there was one time he had to go into the big forest over there," Albus said, "and there was one time where he had to write out all the punishments of Hogwarts wrongdoers by hand...and there was the time he had to write sentences using his own blood..."

That was definitely helpful. It helped the knot in my stomach grow larger.

I watched James stalk off like an offended cat, my anger slowly increasing. So like a boy, I thought angrily. He would be nice during the summer, and even on the train, but once his friends were around, he'd rather die than be seen talking to girls, let alone girls from different Houses. Aqua waved her hand in my face. "Earth to Hazel. Hazel, are you awake?". Lilian giggled a little at that. Aqua looked concerned. "You've been acting strange around James lately." I shrugged and told Lilian that the detention probably wouldn't be that bad, and that Albus just liked scaring people. She looked slightly relieved, although I could tell she was still nervous.

((does that work?))

((Yes, that's perfect!))

James fumed for the rest of the day. When Trelawney stopped him in the corridors, she announced that, "You are just like your father, boy! A tragic hero searching for something that he may never find..." She drifted away.

James tried to shake off the incident, and that of the girls, but his conscience nagged him. Thanks a lot, Mum, he thought to himself. Where d'you think that csme from? So he was angry at the world as he nodded off to sleep that night in the common room. It was Friday, and he'd finished some of his homework... the rest could wait for Sunday night...

He was in a dark room, surrounded by doors. Unmarked, indentical doors. He had to choose one... but which one...

Sorry, someone else continue, Mom's calling me for dinner! Ta-ta!

I bolted upright in bed. My breathing came in heavy, terrified snorts. The dream still echoed in my mind. . .the dark, nameless doors, the voice that was calling out, urging me to. . .

"Keira?" Lillian's voice broke apart my panic. She continued, choked. "Did you have a dream, too?"

"Yuh huh," I nodded, "and there were all these doors, and a person--or something-- speaking . . ."

Lillian's eyes grew large. "You're. . .you're kidding, right?" She gasped when I shook my head. "I had the same nightmare."

((This okay with you guys?))

Perfect! I'd post, but I see that Bekah just did, so I'll wait, so as not to cause any conflict. :)

((Is there a reason the dream-rooms sound like that room leading into the Department of Mysteries? Because, if so, Ooh! Plot point! wins. Also, we need a new major antagonist, 'cause I'm pretty sure y'all don't want me to resurrect Voldy, heheh))

Yes, everyone's done with detention now- some lines, some trophy polishing, that's it, period.

Yes, I was envisioning the Department of Mysteries when I typed that dream, TNO (umlaut!). What is Ooh! Plot Point! ?

Yes, I was thinking about the new major antagonist (no need for TNO ((umlaut!!)) to ressurrect Voldy- we all know what that would be like!), and I think we should just invent an entirely new character. Death Eaters' children are overused by now, but if the new villain sent those dreams, that would flow very well, I think.

((Ooh! Plot point! being the DoM.

Aw! But I loves teh Voldy! :)

So, someone just comes up with a character? That'd be fun. We won't have much detail, though, at first.

Haha, at some point we should have a lame Voldy imitator get caught trying to terrorize some Muggles or whatever. And then all the Death Eater kids would be all shocked and offended or something because he's dishonouring Voldy's memory or some such nonsense... XD))

((No, that would be 1. annoying and 2. illogical. But who were you thinking of? Maybe a Death Eater comes back!))

((I like TNO's idea (I'm not going to forgive myself until I get an umlaut...).

Inventing villains is huge fun. (That did not come out the way I intended... :) ) But I think that to be fair everyone should post an aspect they'd like a bad guy to have, and then we can meld them together, so that everyone gets a say. I also think that, despite his being an RP, the villain's character should be open to everyone. Yes?
