Not Warriors
I'm not being...

I'm not being an obscurantist or anything, but about how many Warriors threads do we have going on BaB? It seems like that's all there is.

Thank you! My thoughts exactly!!! Has anyone read the book North of Beautiful? It's really great...there's a thread on here somewhere if you want to know more...

So who are everyone's favorite Warriors characters? Mine are Crowfeather, Greystripe, Cinderpelt, Brambleclaw, and Cherrypaw!

I like Yellowfang, Feathertail *weeps* (why did she have to die!?), Squirrelflight, Stormfur, Leafpool, Cinderheart, Honeyfern *once again weeps* (why did she die too!?) and Lionblaze. Mary W., there are alot of warriors threads because warriors is awesome!! (no matter what you think!)

Okay, so Warriors is a great series, I won't deny it. But here are plenty of other amazing books to talk about  (besides Harry Potter and Twilight - there're too many of those, too).

The reason there are so many is because they're so popular!! I mean, they rock!!

You've got other Warriors threads, why did you feel the need to come onto a thread for other books to talk about the one book that this thread is explicitly not about?

Erin Hunter, yeah, she's a decent writer. The first six books were pretty good. She isn't God's gift to literature! She isn't the most fabulous thing since sliced bread!

@Mary W. and Koffee: Yes, I agree, and it's not obscurantist to want to talk about something other than feral cats.

@Ima Bookworm: sure there's a lot of HP/Twilight threads, but at least there's not nine threads for each of 'em on the first page, eh?

@Silvermist: Just because they're popular doesn't mean they're good or they deserve to be popular. Case in point: Twilight.

Sheesh! Just kidding! And I accidentally said Silvermist, but it's Silverbrook. And Twilight is annoying...Well, I actually haven't read them, but..... Also, that thing about sliced bread was really funny.

Yeah, re: Twilight, to quote Cube of Evil's Queen of Hearts:

"I like the sparkles. I'd be willing to pay for the sparkles. That doesn't mean they're good or that they should be there."

Except I thought the sparkles were just... stupid. In QoH's defense she was talking about painted flowers.

Yes, I spend too much time on TwiSu. Why do you ask?

And just because you were "kidding" doesn't mean what you War-fans were doing was extremely rude and egotistical.

I am very happy that someone other than me knows the word "obscurantist." Not even grownups know that word! I've honestly never met any person other than myself who knows the definition! *gets very worked up*

Actually.. I'm not very sorry. I don't want a fight or anything, but come on! I don't control every person that plays warrior! O.k. *leaves*
