I was just wondering if anyone here likes manga? Manga is a Japanese, thick comic book that is read backwards.

I am absolutely and completly crazy for it! My favorite manga (and the best manga ever on Earth) is Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. It is insanely awesome! It does have a T.V show on channel 262 (FUNimation on Verizon FIOS) but if you ask me the T.V. show murdered the story. Even though my location says Japan, that's just 'cause I like Japan. I'm in VA, so I know Tsubasa's in the USA. If you like manga, whats your favorite? If you've read Tsubasa, who's your favorite character? Mine's Fai. LaughingHowever, NO ONE is allowed to say Fai is there favorite until they've read Vol. 20.

 

Other manga I like is Cardcaptor Sakura and Magic Knight Rayearth. All 3 are by the same auther, CLAMP. CLAMP also wrote XXXHOLiC, X, Man of Many Faces, Chobits, Suki, Wish, Tokyo Babylon, Mizuki-Chan in Wonderland, and many more. THey are awesome!

I've never heard of it, but I commend you for being able to read comic books (especially backwards!). I'm one of those people whose brains is just not programesd to comprehend those things. I just can't understand it. I dunno why. *shrug*

By the way, Yuki-San, I like your name.

Ah, manga! My mom is Japanese. ;) That's cool you like Japan. I like the Ranma and InuYasha manga series best, but La Corda D'Oro and Nodame Cantabile come in straight behind that, then Fruits Basket, which is sooooo funny! I LUVS manga! The reading backwards part is easy, actually. I wish I lived in Japan. But, my aunt, uncle, Baba, and cousin  live in Tokyo. But my Jiji lives in Texas........and, of course, my dad's side of the family is all in TN like me. I like your name! Wanna be friends? And can I call you Yuki-Chan? (Chan is a sufix of endearment, like a nickname almost, while saying san is like saying ma'am or sir.) You can call me Jen-Chan if you want.......
