((We're continuing here, then? Great. Just a sec for your synopsis, Bekah--let's round everyone up, and then somebody'll type you a summary. For now, suffice to say that Hogwarts is in turmoil. Bellatrix is forcng Wolfbar to read Shakespeare, which was a brilliant piece on TNO's (umlaut) part. :D

Carry on!))

Yes, Bellatrix is showing a literate side. :) As for up at the castle... I'm not sure. It's pretty much Mary/Wolfbar and TNÖ/Bellatrix now.

((Basically, the predecessor of the Dementors showed up at Hogwarts, was driven off, and Bellatrix is forcing Wolfbar to read Shakespeare.

Oh, and the RP mostly turned into a fanfiction between Mary and I about Bellatrix. *guilty grin*))

((*claps hands* Alright, let's get this thing started again, shall we?))

//Belinda's POV//

I sat in the back of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, half-listening to Professor Boot's speech about the dangerous creature that had nearly eaten someone's soul. Perfect Potter stood in a corner of the room, staring out at us seriously.

"Selwyn!" he barked suddenly. I looked up as innocently as I could manage.

"Sir?" I asked, letting sarcasm drip into the syllable.

"This is serious."

"Yes, sir," I said. "I'm sure it is."

We glared at each other for a moment.

"Sir?" I said after a moment. He raised his eyebrows slightly and nodded. "I'd like to ask about the rumors..."

"Rumors?"

"About Bellatrix Lestrange," I said. Oliver rolled his eyes, but I ignored him. "Are they true?"

Through gritted teeth, Potter said, "It would appear so."

"In your... professional opinion, would you say her reappearance and the appearance of the creature are somehow linked?"

"I don't know, Ms. Selwyn. But you would be well-advised to steer far, far away from the Death Eater."

I smirked and went back to staring at the desk.

I had never been comfortable in places with a dangerous Death Eater and soul-eating creatures on the loose. I had never been comfortable in any place that was not 100% safe. Like one Christmas when my aunt's dog got on the loose and almost knocked over all the candles. I had been terrified that I would be in the middle of the inferno. Of course, my aunt casually called the dog, he sat, and there was no inferno. But while everyone chuckled and patted the dog, my teeth were still chattering.

   I didn't like feeling like a scaredy-cat, but I preferred that to being terrified out of my wits. As soon as class was over, I went up to my dormitory and began planning my escape from Hogwarts.

I gazed in horror at the dementor who claimed not to just be a dementor ((what was his name?)). I glanced at Rose who seemed to be thinking the same thought as me: What? I scanned my brain for a reference to that name....and came up empty. Wait! I remembered somthing, but I forgot it when the dementor spoke again.

I just realized...how did Bellatrix survive the killing curse? Harry survived it because of his connection with Voldemort, but I don't think that was so with Mrs. Weasly and Bella...Maybe she was never there, just an illusion of her! So only the illuusion was hit! Or maybe she did some sort of spell beforehand that would reverse any spell placed on her! Or maybe the Bellatrix who was hit was an imposter using polyjuice potion. What does everyone think?

Oh, and I also have a quetion for Mayrella. I think J.K. R. says in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them that Luna Lovegood marries someone named Rolf Scamander. So...could you be Mayrella Scamander or something?

((We're actually never explicitly told what curse Molly hit Bellatrix with; just that it was a curse. Most assume that Bellatrix was killed by said curse, because of Voldy's reaction (he DID care for her, I am telling you! You know he did! /fangirling) and Harry's interpretation of it. I think for the purposes of the RP we decided it wasn't a killing curse and she was just knocked out and mistaken for dead... until she escaped, anyway.

Oh, and I promise not to go crazy and Bella/Voldy on you after we ressurect him, though it might make for an interesting twist... hah! imagine Wolfbar's (can I call him Wolfy? Pleaseohpleaseohplease?) reaction! ...But yeah I'll leave my weird pairings out of the RP unless you guys LIKE the crazy pairings. *nodnod* *needs sleep*))

Drama queen much? Where has anyone told you to go away? Telling you your character sounds Mary Sue-ish.

*last bit was cut for some reason*

I said, Saying your character sounds Mary Sue-ish does not equal telling you to go away. :) Please stick around.

((Okay, I definitely prefer Wolfbar, but to move the Hogwarts scene along I'll post as James)) :

James was sitting on his dorm bed with the other guys later that evening when his dad walked in with Albus trailing behind him. All of James' roommates looked on in awe.

"James," said Harry, hugging his son. "This isn't exactly the reunion I was picturing when you left the other day, but dark things are afoot."

"Yeah, apparently," James said. "It was like, this massive cloaked thing swooped in and practically ate some kid-"

"James, I would hope you are aware of what that 'massive cloaked thing' was."

"Dementor?" he guessed.

"Worse," Harry sighed. "I'm astonished, frankly, that Terry and I managed to drive it off. Even our own admittedly formidable powers should not have worked against that thing."

"Then why did they?" put in Jim Brewer meekly.

Harry turned to face him. James knew his dad well enough to be able to tell by his expression that he didn't want many prying questions. "We have our theories," she said shortly, and then, to James and Albus, "I'd like the two of you to drop by Terry's office tomorrow morning roundabouts nine. I have some explaining to do."

James nodded, silent and grave for once. Albus just looked terrified.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Your friend asked how Terry and I were able to vanquish the thing," Harry was saying to his sons, running a tired hand through his shock of black hair. "We are hypothesizing as to what the creature was, and we think it was weakened, having left its habitat. The question is, how, in its diminished state, did it manage to enter Hogwarts, one of the most well-protected estates in the country?"
"That's not the only question," muttered James. His normally sarcastic demeanor had been provoked by being kept in the dark. And though he may have been putting up a brave front, inside he was nearly as shaken as the pallid and frightened Albus looked.
