Hello, Chatterboxers, CALM DOWN! Remember we agreed on some debates thread we would respect other people's opinions? Anyone should be able to express their views on Chatterbox without being completely jumped on. One of the points of this forum is from people of different viewpoints, cultures, backgrounds, etc. to share ideas in a PEACEFUL, understanding setting. I apologize, Mara, for the harsh welcome. We Chatterboxers have strong opinions sometimes and like to share them, which can sometimes come out mean on a computer! Normally, though, we're a really nice bunch of readers and writers who enjoy talking to others across the world. If you like Twilight, hey, I'm cool with that. Even though I'm not particularly fond of it, that's your opinion and I'll respect it.

P.S. Reuben....I don't know if you meant it like this, but on the computer, your comments came out just plain mean. "Stereotypical fangirl?" "Lit snob's nightmare?" You don't even know Mara, and you have no right to label her as stuck up and shallow from just one post you read on a computer screen.

P.S.S. Admin, you can tone this down if you want to. I'm just feeling rather...discusted by some of the comments on this thread.

It's true that Mara wrote like a stereotypical fangirl and lit snob's nightmare. Rueben K. was saying she WROTE like them, not WAS them. People like that (fangirls and lit snob nightmares) would never come to this wonder ful website. They're too "cool". Meanwhile we plot world domination...... >D

THANK YOU, Allison!!! I totally times 100 agree with what you just said! And I thought I was just being my own crazy sensitive self. (see my comment above) Can't we all be a little more welcoming, okay?

Thank you! I totally agree! We should not scare innocent people who made mistakes and totally didn't know everyone would come yelling at them just because of the way they type. It kinda freaks them out.... I speak from experience....

Thanks, Allison. If you actually knew me, you would find that my typing does NOT reflect me. I am actually very nice, and dislike stuck up people. There is actually a clique at school who call themselves the "populars" and are all about appearance and being snoby.

Allison, I know that you guys are all nice and friendly people who are just expressing their opinions all at once over and over. The reason I know this is because I have been getting Cricket for about 3 years, and before that, a whole bunch of others, like Click, Ladybug, and even Babybug.

Well, maybe everyone will be nicer tomorrow.... :)

I am sorry but in case you didn't realise,  Edward is a STALKER!! How can he be 'cool'?

And everyone does not love twilight. I do not think it is even worthy of a capital.

My intent was not to be mean, but to let my views be heard. I'm sorry if it came out mean. I know my views on Twilight (and most other things) are a bit radical. I hope nobody was too much offended. This is debate, no?

I guess I wasn't THAT offended. I'm fine. I usually let things roll off my back anyway....

I really am sorry. I don't intend to come off as mean. I hope you weren't insulted. (Actually, most of the time, it takes longer for the crowd to forgive me than the person I insulted. Example: one time a new person posted as a member of Team Edward, and I linked her to an Anti thread. Everyone had my throat for that...good times.) Sorry.

@Reuben-

1) I was the only one getting at you for that link. (and I'm still not sure if I've forgiven you for scaring her away like that)

2) You still haven't said whether you want to be friends or not. It's this simple. You either say yes or no. Then I stop bugging you about it.

The title of the book isn't even capitalized on the cover. No, seriously, it isn't. look it up.

OT: I remade the cover for the rewrite I'm doing. Now it has scary red eyes and a bloody handprint on it. :)
