Who here likes the Penderwick series? If so, what's your favorite book, character, etc?

I can't decide if I like book 2 or 4 better. As for characters... probably Jane. She's admittedly pretty relatable!

Anyone else excited for book 5? 

Anyway, have fun fangirling/fanboying ;)

ME! I LOVE the Penderwicks series!!!! I like Jane the most, because she's a writer and she was SO funny in the third book!! I also like Batty, mostly because I really really like her name. I am SO SO SO excited for book 5!!! I hope it's about Lydia- I like her, too!

My favorite character is Rosalind because she is the oldest and has to take care of her younger siblings. My second favorite is Skye, because p, like me, she has temper issues.

Oh my gosh, yesyesyesyesyes! I love the Penderwicks! My favorite is Skye. I just love her so much! There's a book five coming out? When!? Oh, and a cool thing I realized: The first book was published in 2005. Batty was four. In 2005, I was also four. Thus, I will ALWAYS BE THE SAME AGE AS BATTY! Isn't that awesome! Also, Batty is currently 15. Weird, right?

Not exactly, because the books come out two or three years after each other, but, in the book, only one year could have passed. But that is cool! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FIFTH BOOK! I LOVE THE PENDERWICKS!!!

I love the Penderwicks! I think my  favorite book is either the 1st or the 4th. Wait-- did you say BOOK 5? WHAT? My dream has come true!

I love Skye, and I actually ship her with the person I have a crush on... oddly enough. 

I love the old-fashioned style combined with the modern setting. I love how they're not sad, and yet not cheesily happy.

My favorite character is Skye. And Hound (xD), and my favorite book... Probably 2. I didn't like Book 4 as much as the first three, because Hound is dead, and the sisters are all older and not around as much. BUT THERE IS A BOOK 5 COMING OUT?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I used to love those books! Skye was my absolute favourite of all of them (and Hound, because who doesn't love dogs?) I only read about half of book 4 because it made me so sad! Batty was so... old... and Hound was dead and the three older sisters aren't even all that important!

I loved the fourth book. I bawled my eyes out. They're all so complex. I generally don't like realistic fiction, but the Penderwicks is different. The characters are so beautiful and real. I didn't know there was going to be a fifth. That's awesome!
