Chatterbox: Blab About Books

The Three Musketeers
Is it any...

Is it any good? I just got it from the library and was wondering if anybody has any input on it. And I was also counting the Warriors threads and started choking. (sorry.)

Ooh! I loved that book! French fiction = win. Actually, all fiction from that era = win.

I got 3/4 of the way through, and I positively loved it, then lost it. *sniff* I'm still looking for it, and I reallyreallyreally want to find it! I left it at a bit of a tense moment!!!! :(:(:(

*groans* The copy that I got from the library was- AAARGH- the "Illustrated Junior Library Edition." WHAAAAT? Why on Earth can they not just publish the REAL version so that those of us who want to read it don't get stuck with these irritating little GIC-esque versions? (*headdesk* is the term that would probably be suitable here, am I right?)

I KNOW! I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS! You pick up a perfectly good-looking book and find out it's a RUINED FAKE! *HEADDIAMOND*

I know! Like Phantom of the Opera! They KILLED it! I think I'm writing a letter of complaint to GIC! (Letters of complaint are quite fun.)
