Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Kira-kira
This book is...

This book is about a Japanese girl living in Iowa whose sister gets sick with - cancer? I can't remember. It's really sad, but it's really good too.

I've read that. It's sooo sad. Kira-kira means glittering.

Jenni got it for me on my B-Day, then I read about half, Jenni took it, Jenni read it, Jenni told me it was a very good book, and that it was sad, and I told her that I hadn't read it completely yet. But we were very busy at the time, so by the time that we were not busy, the book was somewhere over the rainbow. Then I got the book back, read it, then of course Jenni had already forgotten most of it, so...... Whatever. End of Story.

So, um, yeah! It's a great book!

Yeah... it was good. I really don't remember exactly how Lynn died. I read it about 3 or 4 months ago and don't remember it too well. I remember the important things, and how it made me feel, but not much else. And I can't read it again either' it's a library book.

I'm not sure why, but I didn't like it very much.

It does get a little boring after a while. And it takes place over a lot of years, which is kind of hard to do in a novel.
