The Lion Who Wanted To Sing
This is one...

This is one of the nicest book I have read in a long time. Leo the Lion, the king of the jungle is a very lovable character, who decides that he wants to sing. He appoints a bluebird to teach him singing. His singing classes start badly with the jungle creatures mocking him and asking him to practice his roaring else where. Finally the lion and the bluebird hold their singing lessons far away in a cave. The king of the jungle is regular in his efforts to turn the bluebird deaf with his loud, offkey singing.  Does the Lion learn to hold a tune. Well, you have to read the book for that information.

This book is great. The lion is the sweetest lion one can meet. He should be made into a toy. This book should become an audio book and will do well as animation
