Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Book Quote Game
Guess the Qoute!...

Guess the Qoute! The first person to guess correctly get to post the next book qoute. Pretty self explainatory.

I'll start with an easy one -

'I know I'm not an ordinary 10 year old kid.'

Enjoy!

Is that from...the Fellowship of the Ring?

If I'm wrong, ignore this quote.

Don’t know if this is what you were going for, but that line actually is in The Wizard of Oz book, one of the few important things that the movie didn’t  actually change. Anywho, if that wasn’t what you wanted, you can ignore me. XD

“But what the world fails to realize is that a villain is just a victim whose story hasn’t been told.”

Somewhere in Harry Potter... Dumbledore said it, of course.

*goes to find a book*

Right! *ahem*

"Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the Universe than we do now."

Hmm... this sounds like Lemony Snicket... or perhaps A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I haven't actually read either of those books... so I probably got that wrong. However, in the unlikely even that I got it right, ahem:

"Step follows step

Hope follows courage

Set your face toward danger

Set your heart on victory"

Sigh... I love that quote.

The Two Princesses of Bamarre... I'm pretty sure! Wow, I love that quote so much too...

New quote: "If I am a princess in rags and tatters, I can be a princess inside."

I love that book so much... and the author too....
