I've read 3 (which I found pleasant, and very addicting), 8 (which I loved), and 12 (which was very well-written and well-thought-out, but I still hated the main character).

Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones- See the thread I made on this one.

The Host by Stephanie Meyer- I haven't read this one but I can use my imagination, I think...

Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter- No comment. :(

The Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer- I respect your opinion.

The Midnighters series by Scott Westerfield- Never read them, though I have heard good things.

Uglies series by Scott Westerfield- Ditto.

Three Cups of Tea by....... (I forget) - Sounds interesting.

Harry Potter series by JK Rowling- Wonderful, of course.

Airborn by Kenneth Oppel- Um... never read it.

Wicked by Gregory MacGuire- As soon as I finish all the other books I'm reading, I'll probably get this from the library.

Dewey by Vicki Myron- Never read.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians series by Rick Riordan- Oh yes, these were great.

Mostly a good list, though. :) What are Airborn, Three Cups of Tea, Dewey, and the Westerfield books about?

Airborn is about this boy who was born and raised on an airship, but it was made out of something pretty flimsy, so it broke, leaving him on an island with a girl and the rest of the crew members. His grandpa was flying around this area before and wrote a journal describing some dinosaur-like birds that flew around the island.

Three Cups of Tea is nonfiction, and it's about a man who goes to this really poor village when he gets lost climbing K2. He builds them a school.

The Westerfield books are very....hard to describe. They are very unique, and I would recommend them.

1. Never read it...

2. *slightly* better than Twilight, mostly, I think, because the scenery was described in such a way that you felt like you were *there* rather than looking at some pretty pictures. Plot was a weensy bit more interesting too, but then there was still the purple prose, emphasis on beauty, seventeen year old girl x older man fetish, etc. etc...

3. First six, good. Next 20 or so were boring.

4. Blech.

5. Haven't read it, but I've heard good things.

6. Pretty good, actually. Tally was kind of annoying sometimes, though. And the fourth one (Extras) was a little... strange...?

7. Haven't read it.

8. Series, good, titular character, bad. I was rooting for Voldy.

9. Haven't read it, but my friend who has similar tastes in literature said it was good.

10. LOVE. One of my favourite books.

11. Never even heard of it, I'm afraid.

12. Only read the first... two, I think, thought they were good but wasn't into it enough to read the other books.

Yes! A person who likes Twilight and has a brain! I agree with you on a lot of these, but I odn't really like Howl's Moving castle.
