Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Things Hoped For
This has to...

This has to be one of the best books ever. It's amazingly well written! It made me cry, laugh, and now I have a fear of freezers. But it was sooo good!!

Gwen is 17, and she is a violinist. She studies in NYC, but her family lives in Virginia, so she lives with her grampa. Grampa has a jerky brother named Hank who likes to nose around. One day, just a few days before Gwen's college auditions, she comes home to find no grampa, just a phone message. She tries to continue her life balancing auditions, grampa's disappearance, Uncle Hank, a new friend named Robert, and invisible things. It's the sequel to Things Not Seen, so you have to read that one first, but that one's good too.
