Have you ever

Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Rewrite the Story
Have you ever...

Have you ever wished that your favorite book had a different ending? Perhaps the ending took too long to take off? Maybe one scene was just a bit too fantastic with not enough explanation.

Well, this is your chance to fix that! In this new #ReviveBaB contest, you will be rewriting a section of a book, taylored however you wish.

The first book will be A Wrinkle in Time, by Madeleine L'Engle. I will be judging on September 15th!

The Rules

1) Please keep all entries between 500 and 1,500 words. It needs to be long enough to have meaning, but not so long that it is disrespectful to the Admins.

2) Keep everything clean. No bad words, keep the descriptions of gore to a miniumum, and steer clear from politics as much as possible.

3) Be respectful to everyone who chooses to enter.

4) Have fun, and be creative!

This is a cool idea! I'm rereading A Wrinkle in Time in preparation for this, and I think I know which scene I'm going to rewrite.

I believe so. You may join any time you want. I do have a thread on WoF, if you wish to join that, my friend.

Wow, this is really old, I thought it had died. I think it's old enough that it might actually be better if I just chose a new book, since Kitten is the only one who actually wanted to do it. Clovertoe, since your library website isn't working, you can choose the book we do.
