??Clans??
Hiya. Well, I...

Hiya. Well, I don't really know this thing with the clans. And then why do the people there add star to the people's names? Sorry that I have no idea about it.

Well, when a kit is born, they are ___kit. It could be anything, Breezekit to Hollykit, from Birchkit to Riverkit. I was Silverkit. Then, when a kit is 6 moons old, they become an apprentice, which means that they are training to be a warrior or a medicine cat. They then become ____paw The ____ is what they were as a kit. (i.e. Riverkit would then be Riverpaw) I was Silverpaw. They train until their mentor (teacher) thinks they are ready to become a warrior (or full medicince cat). They then get their full name. It could be anything, as long as it has the ____ they had as a kit and apprentice (i.e. Riverkit would be Riverpaw and then Riverheart or Swiftriver or something like that) I was Silverbrook If they become leader, they become ____star. (i.e. Riverkit to Riverpaw to Riverheart to Riverstar) I am now Silverstar. That's how it works. :D Happy to explain!

You see, the Clans are RPs based on a series about cats called Warriors by Erin Hunter.  In order to fully understand, you'd have to read it, unless you want a long, ranting explanation of how it works.

Which I will happily give! In very short summery style!

~~~~ First Ark ~~~~
So, there's a cat named Rusty (a kittypet (house cat) ) who meets some warriors from Thunderclan. (there's 4 clans, Thunderclan, Riverclan, Shadowclan, and Windclan) and decides to join. Then he and his buddy Graypaw train for a while. Many good characters die while they are apprentices. Firepaw find this medicine cat that was driven out of Shadowclan. She's supposedly dangerous to kits. Then, they find their medicine cat, Spottedleaf, dead, a few kits gone, and that medicine cat gone, to. Then they find out she was good and was trying to get the kits back and the leader of Shadowclan is evil and had killed Spottedleaf and taken the kits, so they chase him off. (I think you get the point)  The two apprentices get the names Fireheart and Graystripe. They also find out the Deputy, Tigerclaw is evil, too. Bluestar, the leader, doesn't know that, though. The next six books are about how Tigerclaw is evil and how he runs away to Shadowclan and becomes the leader and Fireheart becomes deputy. It also has this evil clan of cats that show up and try to kill everyone. They kill Tigerstar (used to be Tigerclaw), and then they are driven off. Graystripe gets a mate from a different clan, which is against the rules. She dies having her kits, and her kits are sent to Riverclan. Then, Sandstorm, a grumpy cat who was mean to Firepaw when he and she were apprentices, is suddenly nice, so she and Fireheart are mates. In the last book, Bluestar dies and Fireheart is Firestar and Sandstorm has kits, Leafkit and Squirrelkit.
~~~~ Second Ark ~~~~

Tigerstar's son, who is good, Bramblepaw is given weird reams that tell him to meet these cats from different clans so that they can save the clans (whos forest is being destroyed) by going to "the sun-drown place," or the ocean. Then, Firestar's daughter, Squirrelpaw, follows Bramblepaw along with Stonepaw and Featherpaw (Greystripe's children) from Riverclan, Tawnypaw (Bramblepaw's sister that didn't feel loved in Thunderclan, so she went to Shadowclan instead) from Shadowclan, and Crowpaw from Windclan. They travel and travel and meet various cats, some of whom are cats from a Tribe, called the Tribe of Rocky Mountain or something like that. There, Featherpaw, who Crowpaw has fallen in love with, is killed while saving the Tribe from an evil mountain lion thing, so her brother, who has fallen in love with a cat there named Brook, decides to stay in the mountains. Then, they get to the "sun drown place" and a badger tells them they have to go to new land. So, they travel back to the forest and the clans follow them over the mountains and to their new home, while many cats die because they don't survive the journey. Then, when they get there, all of the cats that went to the "sun drown place" get their warrior names. (Squirrelflight, Brambelclaw, Crowfeather, and Tawnypelt). They find new territories, and Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw fall in love, but fight all the time and can't seem to get along. Squirrelflight then decides to find another mate, Ashfur, but then finds that she like Brambleclaw best. Then Leafpaw, now Leafpool, the medicince cat apprentice falls in love with Crowfeather (which is really bad because Medicince cats aren't supposed to have kits or mates, plus their from different clans. She runs away with him, but comes back because she dreams something terrible is happening to the clans. Once she's back, she find a ton a badgers running around killing people. Her much-loved mentor, Cinderpelt is dead because she was trying to keep kits in the nursery safe, while one of the queens had kits. Everyone is sad.

I'll type more later.

And a review from the opposite perspective: that of a former Warrior fan who now dislikes the series. And of course, it's laden with spoilers.

First Arc

Book One: A housecat named Rusty gets bored with his life and doesn't want to be neutered, so he goes into the forest. He meets a bunch of cats from a Clan, and  he goes to join the clan, lead by Bluestar.. He is named Firepaw, and trains with his friends Greypaw and Ravenpaw. Tigerclaw, an senior warrior (and a onedimensional villian) plots to be leader. He is suspected to have killed the previus 2nd-in-command (deputy) and the current deputy dies. Tigerclaw is now deputy. He plots to kill Ravenpaw, so Firepaw and Greypaw getRavenpaw out the forest. This is all done on a hunch be Firepaw, who gets that way. Firepaw also falls in love with the medicine cat Spottedleaf and takes care of a rouge named Yellowfang. He fights an invasion by Brokenstar, and is made a warrior. He and Greypaw are now Fireheart and Greystripe. However, Spottedleaf is dead ,and Yellowfang is now medicine cat, and it's revealed she's Brokenstar's mother. Book Two: Fireheart and Greystripe bring back a lost Clan. Greystripe falls in love with Silverstream, a cat from another clan. Sandstorm, who used to be mean, is nice. Fireheart gets anapprentice, Cinderpaw, but she's hit by a car.

To Be Continued.
