Chatterbox: Blab About Books

2021 Summer Book Bingo!
I was inspired...

I was inspired by my library's book bingo to do one for the Chatterbox!

Rules:

~ The books you check off the squares with must be read between June 3 and August 3 2021.

~ Each square must be checked off with a different book (meaning you can't use one book to check off two or more squares).

~ To be considered elegible for a prize you must turn in your bingo card by August 4 2021.  (If this does not work for you let me know ahead of time and I will change this deadline).

Obviously I cannot make sure you are not cheating with all the rules, but I am going to trust you. So please do follow the rules.

The prizes:

Blackout: a choice between a drawn picturing, a written picturing, or a personal poem I write based off your name.

2 Rows: a written picturing.

To collect your prize you must state what you would like and post the form by August 6 2021. Please keep in mind the less fully you fill out the form the more I will be drawing from my imagination.

Form for Written Picturings and Personal Poems and Drawn Picturings:

Name:

Gender and pronouns:

Age (optional):

Appearance (optional):

Personality (optional):

Likes and dislikes (optional for a drawn picturing):

Hobbies (optional for a drawn picturing):

I hope at least some of you find this interesting!  I will be posting the bingo card after this thread shows up.

Great idea! Does it count if we already started? (Even if it's just a bit?)

Peregrine, this is such a good idea!! I'll definitely be participating. I finished an audiobook today and that was the first book in a series, so I guess I'm already on my way!

I will be participating! Do I have to read a whole series? I'm on the tail end of one now, and I am on the second book of another...

What a great idea Peregrine! This looks like it will be really fun! I do have one question though - for the 'Read a series' box', does it count if you have already read, say, the first book and then read book 2 and 3 durring the June 3 - August 3rd?

Snipe says <xwifi>. You want to X out Wifi? I don't think that would be a very good idea...

This is a really cool idea! I am definitely going to participate. I do have a question, though. How do you turn in the card?

I'd love to join! Do you mind if I copy the bingo out onto a sketchbook? My computer isn't connected to our new printer yet :l

I am glad some of you are interested!  Now to answer your questions.

Feline Fantasy: it depends when you started.  I'd say if you started the second to last day of May or sooner than it would.

Wolfy_Walker_7: like said above it would depend on how long ago you read the first book.  If you read it between May 30 to now than I would count it.  You do have to read a whole series, bt there is now required length of series (two books or more would count).

Neverseen: please refer to my answer to Wolfy.

Blackfooted Bobcat: [It's great to see you back!  I missed you.]  To turn in your card you simply have to write down the books you read for each square and post it on this thread.  You can print or copy the card and list the book titles in the squares, take a picture and submit it.  Or you could creaat a list with the themes of each square and write down the books you read for them, take a picture or type it out and submit it!

Dewdrop: goodness, no.  You are quite welcome to copy it into your sketch book.

To everyone: please check off the squares with the title and author of the book you read.  Mostly because I am curious about the books you choose.  And also it can give others ideas of what to read.  However, if you don't feel comfortable about doing so you definitely not required to do so and it won't make you ineligible for the prizes.

You are welcome to post the books as you read them but please post a fully filled out card by the deadline.

Thanks for the answer! (And your many great ideas.) I'm glad someone remembered me XD I'm definitely going to be more active now. Also, I drew a picturing of you. I can post it on the Ultimate Picturings Thread or here if you want, but it's fine if you don't.

You're welcome; and I would love to see the picturing you drew of me!  Either here or the Ultimate Picturings Thread works fine.

I have completed "Read a book you've never read before" with The Adventures of a Girl Called Bicycle! Also, I finished the Fellowship of the Ring audiobook this summer, but started it before summer, so does that count for the audiobook one?
