HI YES

Okay, honestly I hated book 14.  Every other book in the series was amazing, pure holy greatness, and the last book was just...not.  It was more of a filler, which you can't really have in a 5 book amazing series- you need to fit a lot in- and it was Snowfall's story, not the Pantalan dragons.  Plus, introducing the scavengers with no foreshadowing except a book that wasn't even really a part of a series?  Suddenly?  After books of them being just mice-like creatures, but a little more mysterious.  Don't get me wrong, I love Dragonslayer, but... this wasn't a good turn of events.  The worst part?  Book 14 affects every future book in the series.

I agree! I was looking forward to seeing how animus magic had disappeared (which, by the way, I totally anticipated Jerboa's involvement in, though I did not predict her backstory) and how the Pyrrhian dragons reacted upon meeting the Pantalan dragons, but that was really the only good part of the book. While I would never insult Tui because she is my god and I revere her this just isn't her best work.

Also, off topic, but I just don't think Luna is the right choice for TFOH's protagonist. Usually they avoid using the same tribe as a protagonist twice in a series, but let's just throw that rule out the window for this book, 'kay? I personally think Sky would make a much more intriguing main character, and we would have different tribes for each book.

OH YES

I noticed that too and it bothered me, it sort of limits the variety and we've already seen a good amount of her personality and motives and stuff in book 11.  Sky would have knowledge and understanding of the scavengers already, so the book would be more "okay, this is the exciting plot twists and stuff and the storyline and whatever" and less "WhOa ScAvEnGeRs Do ThIs AmAzInG wOw CoOl." Though, I would've liked if they had much less involvement than they will, if they had remained like sort of intriguing side characters.

Jerboa's backstory and stuff is really interesting and, besides the "wow scavengers talk omg" was the most important piece of the story, so it made it really strange to me how Snowfall was the main character as she wasn't too involved in any of that.

I hated book 13. Don't ask why or the Admins won't let this on! I kinda liked book 14 though.

I honestly loved all de books. I think my favorite book was the on about quibli. Peril is cool but i think she needs to make her own decisions in the first book. Also i think glory is as much of a prophecy dragonet as any of them..

Yeah I agree. I still love the series tho and am eagerly awaiting the last book. A friend of mine came up with an idea that after this series is over tui could do a series about the younger generation of dragons in a winglet like Auklet, Cliff, Bumblebee, Peacemaker, and others. And YES Glory is as much a prophecy dragonett as the others and amazing
