I am not...

I am not sure how people will actually use this, but this is just a place where you can talk about books.

Has anyone read A Snicker of Magic by Natalie Lloyd? If not, you should! I loooooooooovvvvvvveeeee it!! It's definetly in my top 5 books (I'm counting WoF as one. Can't choose a fave between those!). It has magic in it, but I think you can tell from the title... Oh, I could find the blurb, if that's allowed. It is, right?
Here it is: 'Midnight Gulch used to be a magical place, a town where people could sing up thunderstorms and dance up sunflowers. But that was long ago, before a curse drove the magic away. Twelve-year-old Felicity knows all about things like that; her nomadic mother is cursed with a wandering heart. But when she arrives in Midnight Gulch, Felicity thinks her luck’s about to change. A “word collector,” Felicity sees words everywhere—shining above strangers, tucked into church eves, and tangled up her dog’s floppy ears—but Midnight Gulch is the first place she’s ever seen the word “home.” And then there’s Jonah, a mysterious, spiky-haired do-gooder who shimmers with words Felicity’s never seen before, words that make Felicity’s heart beat a little faster. Felicity wants to stay in Midnight Gulch more than anything, but first, she’ll need to figure out how to bring back the magic, breaking the spell that’s been cast over the town . . . and her mother’s broken heart.'

It's such a spindiddly book!!! And yes, the word 'spindiddly' is not real, but it's a word from the book. It means 'beyond awesome'.

Also, in the book, ICE CREAM.

Has anyone read books by Marie Lu?

She's a really good dystopian and science fiction writer. The Legend series is one of my favorites! It's about a boy and girl from different backgrounds in a postapocalyptic United States working together to discover the flaws in their government and make things right.

Marie Lu also wrote the Warcross duology. I've read the first book, about a bountu hunter hacking herself into the world championships of a virtual reality game and then having to compete in it, and I want to read the second book.

Marie Lu also wrote the Young Elites Trilogy, which I've heard is good.

OH MY GOSH YES HER BOOKS ARE AMAZING--

I just finished Legend (I had to read it for school for our book club) and it was amazing. I really want to read the rest of the trilogy but my library is UnDeR cOnStRuCtIoN and we have to go to this other library that's really far away and my parents have a lot of stuff to do so we haven't been able to go. Luckily, I'm going back to school soon and they have the rest of the trilogy at the school library.

Anyway, I'm glad someone else likes her books!
