Has anyone read Pendragon, by D. J. Machale? It's an exciting series, but I despise some of the characters. Mark, Courtney, Kasha. The villian is absolutely brilliant though.
And what's up with Bobby having, like, three girlfriends? Actually, Courteny is his only girlfriend but he's constantly saying how pretty Loor is or how cute Aja is.
My fav. Charaters
1. Loor. Strong, confident, pretty, brave,
2. Boon, funny, young, never boring,
3. Vo Spader, adventurous, fun, but is driven by a dark side, thristy to avenge the death of his father.

How do you not like kasha? I think that Bobby actually likes Loor... No, I do not think that Spader has a "dark side" I think that he is just angry about his father, and to impatint to thing coherently about some of the situations he is in.

I didn't really mean to say dark side, I meant a more serious side. And who do you like? Loor, Aja, or Courtney? I'm not saying Kasha because she is, in fact, part cat. She isn't all that bad though. She just... isn't one of my favorites.

I know what you are saying about all those girlfriends! He's such a cheater. Other than that factor, I think the books are amazing. I really liked the aquatic world in the 2nd book (I think). Also, it drives me crazy that Mark decided to share the journals with that bully in the boys' room.

Oooooooh! Pendragon! I could go on about this series for hours on end!
I will not try and give spoilers to those who have not read the whole series, but I'll say that it's great! Some of my favorite characters are: Loor: her quiet compliments, ongoing boldness and braveness, etc, Saint Dane: who could ask for a better bad guy? Smart, sly, nice well rounded villain! I have others too, but I'll stick with these for now. Oh, let me clarify. I don't like SD as a person, I like him as a villain.
I love the humor and quotes, I have even made a whole word document of quotes from that series!
Yeah, I don't get that Bobby + everybody thing either! Can't he just make up his mind and not love every new girl he meets? *sighs* Ah well.
Did I forget Spader, the hilarious, smart, and brave aquaneer? Another favorite of mine. He liked his father (understatement here) and wanted to avenge his death. Here, I think that D.J. needed to spice up his character or something, so he made him get all dark. He's great, though!

OMG I love this series! That last book was super confusing though.
Fave charries: Spader, Kasha and Loor. Spader, because he's just a really fun guy. Kasha's cool because even though she doesn't believe in the Travelers at first, she commits herself to them and is even willing to die for them. *sniff sniff* That was... really sad. And Loor, cuz she's awesome. And she hits things with a stick. XD

@Commander Kip about the last book: Yeah, it can be confusing, but you have to contemplate it. For a long time. It makes sense, just not in the beginning. I won't say any more to those who haven't read the last one. I think it was a good ending.
I also like the last couple of lines in the 9th book.
I have a word document of hilarious quotes from the series, but I'm not on my computer right now, and I don't have any off the top of my head... so I'll post some later.
