Here's a place to talk about that wonderful book universe, the ~Riordanverse~!!
Warning: they probably will be spoilers for some books in here. SO how 'bout everyone, if they wanna talk about something that might spoil the story for someone else, write "SPOILERS FOR [book(s)]" at the begginning of the spoilers bit, and at the end of that part, write "END SPOILERS"
Okay, so for my Hebrew class we have to make an art presentation project thing about pretty much any topic we want, and the different eras of it. So of course, I chose Percy Jackson! The poster will look like a trident, with the two side prongs saying "Percy Jackson" (in Hebrew, of course), and the middle, will be the "eras". At the bottom/start, there'll be PJO, then HoO, then the musical, then ToA, the TSatS, then the upcoming TV show (including art for all of them). I decided not to include the movies b/c ew and not Magnus Chase or Kane Chronicles b/c those are different mythologies than the ones above. Also The soundtrack for the musical is so good! My favorite is Drive. I very much suggest y'all go listen to it!

your poster sounds amazing! And, yes, eww. And the musical was really good thanks for suggesting!! Drive was really good, I also really liked My Grand Plan and Take the Weight (but oc I'm biased cuz Annabeth :D ), and Try, and The Day I Got Expelled... which were all the songs I've listened to as of now so coming back later when I have more time!
I was looking for a HoO musical and I don't think there is ( :( ), but I DID find a song called Born For This by Campamento Riordan I think??? which I also SOOO recommend, and the art was amazing too!
Who are y'all's favorite characters? Books? Series? Chapter titles? Scenes? Jokes? Quotes? First/opening book sentences? First/opening chapter sentences? Guides? Songs (from the musical)? Creatures? Myths? AHHH!!!! Other stuff too?
ACKKKKKKKKK!!!!! Oh my. Ack. Ack. Ack. I literally just, right when I finished typing that "AHHH!!!!" on the former paragraph, no literally I'm not kidding ACTUALLY I'm freaking out right now... I was gonna tell you all my long and confusing backstory with the Riordanverse but memory is weird so to make extra sure my mind's not making stuff up (you'll understand this spheal sry after you read the next next paragraph, nvm, next post now) I looked up The Lost Hero's (the first book I read's) publication date... IT WAS PUBLISHED. TODAY. TODAY. OCT 12, 2010 IT SAYS. I mean, today IS Oct 12, IS IT NOT?!?! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Isn't it so amazing you made this thread, and I was just randomly like I'm gonna check bc I love talking more than needed which means I'm gonna tell you my backstory, THE DAY THE LOST HERO, FIRST BOOK OF HOO, WAS PUBLISHED?!?! Excuse me while I go look up the other publication dates...

I JUST FINISHED ALMOST ALL THE SONGS BUT ABOUT ONE/TWO BUT AHHH THEY'RE ALL SO AMAZING!!! I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH!!! THEY WERE ALL STUCK IN MY HEAD THE ONE HOUR CAR RIDE TO AND THEN BACK YESTERDAY AND MY SOCCER GAME AND WHEN I WENT TO BED AND WHOLE DAY! AND TODAY! Listening to Pick A Side rn, Clarisse just said Percy can't find his way out of a paper bag!! Yay!! :D
and I love how by creating inside jokes for his characters, Rick Riordan creates inside jokes for fans!

I know, right?? Like right now I'm listening to In The Same Boat. But Pick A Side was stuck in my head earlier. And (I don't know if you've gotten to this song) but in the song I'm currently listening to, Grover says about Annabeth and Percy (while they're fighting with each other) "It's like watching Titans clash. They'll kill each other or they'll kiss. If we're lucky, they'll end up in an abyss." and I go, "NOOOO GROVER WE ARE NOT LUCKY" b/c ya know... Tartarus... Like the fish sauce...
Oooh, today I am dressed as Alex Fierro. Aka green sweater fest, pink shirt, and green pants. And green and pink earrings (also a "key-chain", aka a random key I put onto a random chain, for no real reason). :)

where are we? we're in the same bo-o-oat, we're in the same bo-o-oat... love that song! :) and then we're in the same tra-a-ain, then we're in the same bi-i-ike, then we're in the literal bo-o-oat... so clever! I love play on words, puns, or anything of the like, so I could very much appreciate that!!
but some parts were very much the same to Drive?? For ex: St. Louis Arch, Lotus Hotel, Ares... what's up with that?

Well, In The Same Boat was an alternate song to Drive and D.O.A. Also 'cause before, the play was much shorter than it is now.
