I saw The City of Ember in the bookstore a few weeks ago! It looked cool. But I didn't get it because it was a pretty big book in paperback, and big books in paperback don't turn out looking that great after being read at least once. And I didn't know if it would fit up to my mama's standards of appropriate children's books. Soo...

I've only read TCoE. It's very good. And, Hannah, I don't see how it could be inapproprioate...
