Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Has anyone read any of the books in the series Hank the Cowdog by John Erickson??? My friend introduced them to me...they are really funny! It's about a dog who thinks that he's like the "head of security" of the ranch....buuuut he's not and he's really kinda dumb. :) I'm wondering if any of you like them because my friend LOOOOOVES them and I just got some out from the library!?!?! Also the author has them on audio...I listened to like 10 minute of one of them and they seem like really good books!
