Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Jane Eyre
Okay, I know...

Okay, I know everyone has read the new romance books, but even though this book is old it's GREAT! This book is the book that started all the modern romance books.  Written in 1847 by Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre is about a young orphan girl who is hated by her aunt and cousins who are her guardians.  She is sent away to Lowood Academy and even though she begins to feel as though she is wanted, she still longs for love and friendship.  One day Jane applies for a post as a governess and she leaves Lowood to start her new life at Thornfield Hall. There she meets Mr. Rochester, and her whole life changes.

The language in this book is rather hard to understand since it was written in a time when people spoke strangely.  Also this book is for more advanced readers.  I hope you enjoy this book!
