I'll join! Oh, and how about you have to put how many pages long the book is. Let's do you have to start a book on May 1st. Okay, I'll go start reading!!!

Cool! I'll do that. Unfortunately, it means I'll have to stop reading The Silmarillion, because it takes me so much longer to read than most other books that it just isn't fair, but I don't mind!

I think that books we finish in May but don't start shouuld only count if we read over 75% of it, or somewhere thereabouts; you don't need to calculate it.

Yes, I think we should be allowed to re-read books. I don't often go to the library, so usually all I do is re-read books. On another note...

Hooray!! I finished my first book!

Title: Rilla of Ingleside

Author: L. M. Montgomery

Started: May 1

Finished: May 2 (I read books FAST!)

Rating: AWESOME!!!!

Pages: 277

Commentary: This is the eighth book in the Anne of Green Gables series. Rilla (Bertha Marilla is her real name) is the main character. She is the youngest of Anne's children. Rilla's brothers and friends (Walter, Jem, Jerry, Carl, and Shirley) go off to fight in a war, and Faith, Una, Nan, and Diana go to college, so Rilla, Susan, Anne, and her husband (can't say his name or it will give it away for everyone who hasn't read the third books or on!) are left at home wondering if their boys are going to live through the war. Rilla receives her first kiss from Kenneth Ford, and she brings home an orphaned newborn in a soup tureen! I like the last sentence on the back cover. I think it accurately describes the book. "[Rilla] is swept into a drama that tests her courage and changes her forever." A great read! Definitely recommended! Going off to find my next book to read...

I probably would be almost finished, but I have had to go to take standarized tests the past two mornings and have had to go to bed earlier because of it. Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire is 734 pages. Usaully it takes me a day or two, but at the rate I am going it will probably be more like a week.

I forgot to ask this, but...If we are reading a book for the book club here on the CB, does it count towards our book count?
