Chatterbox: Blab About Books

A Great and Terrible Beauty
I love this...

I love this book! It's a little long, but it's great. It is written by Libba Bray and I think that it's a great fantasy. It's set in late 19th century England and is about a girl named Gemma Doyle who sees visions and has the power to enter the realms. Her instuctions from her late mother state that she must reform the Order, a mysterious group of very powerful women, but that is easier said than done...

If you read this, be sue to pick up the rest of the trilogy, Rebel Angels, and The Great and Far Thing.

Aw, these are great! My friend told me about them a while ago (she's completely obsessed), and I love them, too! Kartik is flippin' awesome! The last book, The Sweet Far Thing, was kinda confusing and freaky, but cool anyway; although the ending made me sad. Very, very sad!!! Rawr! I love how all three of them are in first person, present tense. These are the ONLY BOOKS I'VE EVER READ that were written this way, and I love it!
