Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Enclave by Ann Aguire!
First I read...

First I read the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins, then Divergent by Veronica Roth, then Enclave by Ann Aguire.

And so, I have begun my adventure within dysopic novels...

Enclave is about a girl named Deuce who becomes a Huntress (though that isn't the focus of the book). She gets partnered with a boy named Fade who hadn't been born in College (Deuce's enclave) but instead, had been found. All the enclaves are underground since 'Topside' is obliberated and nothing but disaster. But Deuce finds out some things (which happens in all books) and soon everything changes...

Anyways, GO READ THIS BOOK! It's amazing and it doesn't even have that much romance, unlike THG and Divergent. I know. A YA novel that doesn't have that much romance. It has a bit but it only serves as a minor sidestory. :)

I've read Hunger Games and have Enclave and Divergent. If your looking for another book a bit like those ones I would READ The Roar by Emma Clinton. It is a great book!!! It has a sequel that's coming out in Feb. 2012 (it was published in 2008... I have been waiting a veryyyyyyyy long time sigh...)

The Roar is about a boy aged 12 named Mika, who is living with his parents in an apartment. The book is set in the future, in which an animal plague has infected the entire world, so that much of the world's population has been cramed into a small tight area, somewhere in the northen hemisphere. To fit all the people inside the walls that suround the "city" there are three levels of living: 1. The poorest people live down closet to the ground. That place is called the shadows, where they have little food and are forced to eat maufactured mold. Mika and his parents live in the apartments above the shadows. Above them there are giant skyscrapers where only the richest people live. Mika has a twin name Ellie who disappeared a year before the story starts. Mika's parents believe that she is dead; however Mika believes that she isnt dead. Through difficult and hard times Mika sets out to find his sister while his sister, as she tries to escape her predictiment. Secrets are found, revelations are made and Mika and Ellie's world will change dramatically.

If I had to rate it out of 10 it would be a 8.9/10. It is a middle school novel but it's really good !!! Go To Your Library (Book Store etc) And Read It!!!!
