Does anybody know of any good books? I'm not looking for any type in particular, just something fun to read. Thanks!

The great thing about that you've just started those is that the third just came out, and the fourth is following, so you don't have to wait quite as long.

Lee is right--they are THE BEST! They are funny and sad all at the same time!

Hey Julia!

I'm going to get a couple of books in the mail in a few days, and they sound really good. One is The Witch of Blackbird Pond and the other is The Giver and I think they'll both be really good!!!C:-:D

Bye Julia!!!

Why don't you try the Cricket Readers Recommend section of the website? There's a LOT of great books there.

The Giver is OK but a little odd.  I had to read it for English class.  I've never read The Witch of Blackbird Pond.  Oh wait, maybe I did.  Tell me if it's good!

Hannah, you're right, I thought The Giver was a little weird, too. It was kind of interesting, though.

Yes, it was interesting.  It really makes you think, especially the ending.  There are so many different ways to interpret that.

Well, I could be predictable and repetitive and yell "JONATHAN STRANGE AND MR. NORRELL!!!" in your ear, but that's getting a little old, I think.

Swallows and Amazons is really good, if you like adventure or sailing or camping. I, Coriander is another one with Fairyland. I'm dreadfully fond of Fairyland. And I could go on and on about Great Expectations

Yeah, Alice, when people start to lose hearing, it's probably time to stop. Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell was excellent though. Great Expectations. too.
