This book is strange but awesome! NORMALLY, I wouldn't like fictional-yet-scientifical books like this, but the characters in this whole series are wonderful, and the words put a perfect picture in your mind(if you know what I mean and if you want to know, I am not kidding about my age obviously),even if half the words are pronounced in a zillion different ways they always end up pretty much the same way. Soren is a wonderful owl with intelligence and courage nearly beyond my belief(or else it wouldn't be interesting;)) It's a wonderful story for animal-lovers of all ages-even my grandma loves them!

Yay there is somebody else who reads these!  They are totally awesome! You should check out the Redwall series they are about animals too (in the same peaceful but warrior way)!

Ilove Ga'hoole AND Redwall so, Wendy, you ROCK!

Have you read Warriors or any books by Diana Wynne Jones? if you haven't read Diana, then I would start with Howl's Moving Castle. It's the funniest, but you could also start with Fire and Hemlock ( wink wink; sound familiar? I love that book; it's my total fav), it's very good, too.

YES! Emma, you ROCK!

This is one of my favs, but nobody I know except forr three persons and my sis have EVER heard of it!  I got my dad to read it but my sis got him hooked on the Warriors series and he keeps calling; a) Soren-Fireheart, b) Gylfie-Sandstorm, c) Digger-Graystripe, etc. So I stopped him before he met Barran and Boron; I was afraid they would become Bluestar and Tallstar or Nyra-Tigerstar.

 But yes, I LOVE this book and the rest of the series.

I read Redwall and Guardians of Ga'Hoole.  Try the 2 Ga'hoole roleplayings, one by me.  I am Niro.  Have you read "The Battle of the Ember" and the rest of the Ga'Hoole books?
