Well, I'm Mattie- I'm a Tolkien fan/freak and I love to write.  I'm also a musician- piano and flute- but I can't draw to save my life, so more power to you.  I'd love to see some of your artwork, if you can find a way to share it with us.

Welcome!  I'm Melody, formerly known as Analesia.  My sister, who posts on here sometimes, is ~Blue Fairy~.  I like to read, write, act, sing, and play clarinet.  I am mostly known around here for my Disney obsession.  I like to think I'm funny, and I'm very random.

Hi, Butterfly! Welcome to the CB! I'm Tiffany W., eleven. (I'm one of the youngest people here :P) I'm known for my obsession with dragons and the persistence with which I top a certain role play I've started. I'll post some CB terms later, because right now I'm too lazy... Also, I like to criticize books and go off topic. And I love Calcifer. And drawing. And talking excessively.

I'll continue this later, but for now.... Sorry it's bold, I typed it in the notes on my iPad and yeah. Ugh. 

RP or roleplay- each participant creates their own character and takes turns writing a story from the point of view of that character.  Can be found in the Inkwell, Pudding's Place, and, if based off of a book, Blab about Books.

Spammy- See the four letters at the bottom of the screen? That's the captcha, but since what he says often eerily sounds like a real word, we gave him a name (not only Spammy, but also Princess of Spamalot, Spamdragon, Spamboy, Tobi, etc.) and try to make sense of what he says. If you see someone say '-insert name here- says ykhm (or something else that has four letters)' in one of their comments, they're referring to the captcha. 

Top- When someone comments on a thread for the first time, it goes to the back pages. To bring it back up here, people use the word 'top'  instead of saying something more intelligent (cough. I do it too). Also, when nobody comments on a thread, it goes to the bottom of the page to be replaced by other threads. 

RR- not very popular anymore, but it's a story that one person starts and then the others take turns continuing. Different from an RP because it's all from the point of view of the same character. Can be found in the Inkwell. 

 

SI- stands for Secret Identities. Each participant posts under a different name than their usual one, and then people try to guess each others identities. Can be found in Chirp at Cricket and occasionally others, really depends on the theme more than anything else.

NaNoWriMo- National Novel Writing Month.  Something that challenges you to write a novel with... What... Fifty thousand words? A bunch of Chatterboxers do it. 

Character Lounge--People take characters from books or stories they've written or role plays they've participated in. Then they put them all into the same room, so you end up with elves, supermodels, and half-dragons all wondering where they came from. Chaotic yet hilarious.

I like drawing people's faces,but I don't make them sit in a chair,sit very still and then draw their face.I just make up people and draw.

Sorry for screaming, but I'm obsessed with Tolkien.  Seriously....ahem, a big defender.  Why is it I read my comments and think, yeah, I know I'm insane now?

Actually, and here I will attempt to make myself comprehensible, I'm with Gollum.  I love Tolkien.  Love it like I love little else.  I have this fierce, irrational attachment.
