Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

This is a

This is a post.

It is saying Merry Christmas to all of Cricket Country, and happy Haunukkah, and Kwanzaa, and Saturnalia, and Epiphany although that's in January... are there other winter holidays that I'm missing?

It is also saying that making a vest out of an old Batman T-shirt is hard.

And that oranges taste good and we need a new quiz.

1. What was the color of the last piece of wrapping paper you touched?

Silver and sparkly.

2. What is your favorite Christmas carol?

Probably have to be "Sleigh Ride" or "Need a Little Christmas".

Wheel chocks.

4. Who (out of family and friends) was the first person you gave a gift to?

My friend "Captain Hook". But only by a few seconds.

5. What are your opinions on dancing elves?

Okay, so long as they don't have my face on them. ESPECIALLY not my I-just-got-photographed deer-in-headlights face.

Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians!

7. Given the choice between a tacky, flashing-lights, downright garish airplane ornament and a giant red ball (think 2 feet in diameter), which would you hang on a tree outside where everybody could see it?

8. The world was supposed to end on Friday.

There are a lot of sheep in the world.

9. Muffins.

Drama club and Jenna being weird.

10. If you were forced to listed to ONE song on loop for the rest of your life, what would it be?

No, it isn't. Saturnalia is a Roman holiday that is celebrated from the 17 to the 23 in December. It honors the god Saturn. There are parties and gift-giving.

For winter(ish) holidays, there was Diwali, but that's in November. And in Japan, there is Oomisoka and Oshougatsu. (Don't quote me on the spellings).

Do not forget Advent!  And Three Kings Day!  and Boxing Day! AND CROGSMAS!  My friend has actually started a religion concerning Crogsmas.  I was going to join, but he wouldn't define the beliefs of his religion, other than the fact it worshipped him.  I told him it was a cult and that I wasn't joining.  He hasn't explained Crogsmas either.
